more pics and background .. that looks like fun .. ( for us not been stuck ;) )

I was at a landcruiser club meet this weekend, in the UK. There is a trail around the farm it's held on and this little mud hole has caught me out every time now. And to think this use to be the bypass...

This clip shows what went on better than I can explain, next time a little less right foot when accelerating...

This is also a decent clip to recap what went on over the weekend

One the plus side I did get too see how well the door seals work...

IH8MUD! And you were detained I tell ya! detained, not stuck :flipoff2:

Spent 4 hours trying to find a battery for my 80. Could not find a battery with at least 750 CCA, posts in correct spots and less than $100. Went to Costco, Napa, CarQuest, Knecths, Sears and finally Autozone. Duralast Goldtop 98.99, 3 year free replacement and 8 year warranty! Anyone else have problems finding a battery?

I'll play :)

Got called out on a mission to find and rescue a trapped motorist at 6:50 am. He spent the night, and called 911 at 1st light. Craziest part, he slept in the truck like this...

Here's what it looked like when we arrived on scene.

He said he could t see backing up that night, and was out hunting... Seemed a tad strange given there was a spot within eye sight down the road to turn around. He didn't even have a snatch strap to tie himself off to a tree, slept with his foot on the brake all night he said...

Oh you know it! I also calculated I'm only getting 10.5 MPG these days... Thank god the gas is on the Sheriffs department!

Wow. And I was happy I got 12 up to CTW. No wonder you carry all that fuel ;)

Mountain Rendezvous in Big Bear.

Finally have some gauges! I have the Android Torque app for OBDII monitoring but I like having gauges ready to go anytime vs having to plug in the OBDII adapter, turn on my phone, open the app, wait for it to connect, etc etc.

I love the way it turned out! Parts I used:

- Autometer dual gauge pod for 94-01 Acura Integra (#20110)
- Rustoleum 'Cobblestone' spray paint to match the tan interior
- GlowShift MaxTow digital/analog water temp gauge
- GlowShift 40mm water temp sensor adapter
- GlowShift 7-color transmission temp gauge

I've yet to hook up the transmission temp sensor, hence it's 300 degrees reading :) I'll be adding a brass tee in the rubber line going into the transmission oil cooler. I twisted the head off the temp sensor so I had to order a new one. DOH!

And a pic of the water temp sensor & adapter

Nice. I'd be interested in hearing more about, since I was headed the App direction reluctantly.

Hearing more about what, the app?

took mine camping with the kido again, no photos on this computer though

need to get in one more camping trip before the really cold temps set in

Re

I filled my gas tank, cheked the tires, went off for a ride, came back.
again checked the tires and the engine. Got the gas tank filled up.
