Yes I have it’s super easy if you know how.
What you don’t believe me ?😜
I believe you I just don't see where you would need to be doing that. Like if you're on top of a rock like the stuff you do. Your locker fails you're probably not gonna be crawling underneath your car in the middle of an obstacle you know? Either back down or get winched up at that point. Maybe I'm just not seeing it. And to finish the trail you probably don't wanna be driving miles fully locked (manually) either right?

I used this. There are a few threads on the topic if you search for it. Gained roughly between 3-3.5 inches all around. Just pick the desired length.

Really good stuff. Thank you. I already installed Slee S/S extended lines on both my 80 and 100 but this is really good to know.

I always check my locker before heading out.
A couple of years ago I was heading out to run the Fordyce trail checked the locker and all was good.
Headed down the trail. At the first obstacle the rear locker would not engage. Ran the first day with just the front locker tell we got to winch hill 1 it was late in the afternoon and there’s a great place to camp at the bottom.

The next morning I manually locked the rear locker and ran the next two days and the rest of the trail with the rear locker engaged.

Punch it with a screwdriver and wrench it out of there. Or get a right sized filter wrench attachment for your 1/4” wrench. Kind of boring, but they work pretty well.

I bled the brakes. Again. Tried to do it myself last week… With mrs surfpig’s help I think I got all the bubbles out. The fluid still looks a little dirty though. Brakes work quite a bit better now.

Road trip the other day, brakes were very spongy, but they worked.

This is a spot they call “The Patch.” One of a few places that might hold snow all summer. Party spot for Tahoe locals. I’ve made some turns here in September.
