Overhauled the brakes. Took for a (long) test drive and did not die. Only had to really put them to the test once when a tourist in a G Wagen parked in the middle of the road on a winding mountain road right on a blind curve. haha

Also added a fire extinguisher mount (I need to save up for a Halotron) and bounced for the weekend

Welded up another bumper this time for my youngest son. I'm hoping he can get it painted this coming weekend. We still need to build a tire swing out, but that will have to be down the road. At least if he backs into something we have a chance the car will survive. This is my 3rd one to build. Each time the design gets a little better, but the process takes longer than expected.

Not sure anyone is going to make a kit this tucked. I had to cut quite a bit of the frame to get it this high.

Yea the dissent one is truly the only one high and tight and simple I like. But crazy expensive for what it is. I just want something simple back there that doesn’t hit ledges.

Made my own bumper over the past month or so. Starting the driver side “accessory” swing out soon. Probably doing like a platform that will have multiple mount options for like fuel, traction boards, jack,etc.

Tom Woods drive shafts installed. Sorted out drive-line vibrations and rattles. The rig rides like it's on rails now. Absolutely stoked. The build, mechanically, is "finished", body work is done and the interior is getting there. My bride can start dd-ing now.

Removed the cloth third row to keep them in sealed cases. We don’t use them and they’re in great condition.

Installed a new set of black WeatherTechs for the new cruiser. My son picked black and I think it looks great. I’ve always installed WeatherTechs in all my vehicles. The fit, form, and function can’t be beat. Am not a fan of the Husky liners.

Lots of work to do on this cruiser.

Did you do any forming with a heat gun or trimming? Looks like a lot better fitment than the weather tech mats in my 96, especially on drivers side around the dead pedal area

First set of 3+ Trail Tailor radius arms are made. Test fit on one of our coil conversion builds. 2.75" actual installed lift (not advertised) and alignment is 3.1 and 3.4 degrees. These are approx. 1/2" longer than a stock arm.

Assuming you got the version with zirks so you can grease them up. Just don't forget about the one in the DC itself. You will need one of those needle valve greasers and they need a top up every 3000 miles. A royal pain in the arse to be honest but worth it if cures your driveline vibration.

Just finished pulling the dash on my '95. This is my second time doing this so wasn't as complicated as I remember. Took about 3 hours all in to remove it.
If anyone needs some close photos of the internals for future projects just let me know.

Yes, just one more thing to add to the maintenance schedule, but as you noted, it is worth it to have a smooth running truck
