The wife made Hippie sandwiches so we had a picnic over looking the Coast Line  good times

Yes for now. Had this one for about 2 years. Thinking about building another one with some more turbo ponies shoot for maybe 14 psi? Not sure yet.
How do you fuel 14 psi on these motors?

Do you notice any difference between the AT3Ws and the AT4Ws?
Nothing with general pavement driving. The speedometer might be off by just a little bit as the new tires are 33.1” vs the old which were 31.7”. For off-road, possibly a slightly bigger tire patch when aired down….I have a trip coming up in June…GSMTR 34! 😎

Nice...heading to GSMTR myself this year for the first time! Rolling down from MD, may drag my M101A2 with my RTT as well...

Working on a drawer setup now to fit next to my inside spare (I have the LRA tank underneath)...just got a fridge from a club member to get in as well.

Did some general refresh work and maintenance.

New window runs on both front windows. Finally did the drivers door vapor barrier. I did the other 3 at some point prior. Oil change. Fuel filter. Some diesel purge. Two new batteries.

I still need to do the two rear doors.

I have no idea how old those Japanese batteries are. The Land cruiser has been stateside I think 6 years. And I'm pretty sure the battery says 4/15 but I may be reading it wrong. Either way they were due.

What was the “glue” used to adhere the vapor barrier? It looks like FIPG.

Made another small order from partsouq

Broke a trim piece doing the passenger door. Got tired of all the cracked door handle trim and ordered it and I noticed the bracket on the ps reservoir is cracking, likely from my fat ass kneeling on it.

Overhauled the brakes. Took for a (long) test drive and did not die. Only had to really put them to the test once when a tourist in a G Wagen parked in the middle of the road on a winding mountain road right on a blind curve. haha

Also added a fire extinguisher mount (I need to save up for a Halotron) and bounced for the weekend

Welded up another bumper this time for my youngest son. I'm hoping he can get it painted this coming weekend. We still need to build a tire swing out, but that will have to be down the road. At least if he backs into something we have a chance the car will survive. This is my 3rd one to build. Each time the design gets a little better, but the process takes longer than expected.

Worked on restoring the factory running boards. Took all weekend scraping off that underbody protection underneath, dealing with broken bolts, rusty brackets and painting everything. Replaced all the bolts and found fitting metal clips for the end caps in a hardware store as they are not sold separately from Toyota.
