Man I absolutely love your "don't give a sh!t" attitude when it comes to doing the maintenance on the sidewalk. In my neck of the woods I would be written up for even washing my truck in mynown driveway..Painted the 3FE today. Rattle can blue!!! Turned out okay. Not perfect but good enough for government work! Now got a build her back up and drop her in the FJ80.

Looks nice, I’ve been spraying on CLR and scrubbing them with a maroon scotch bright with similar resultsI found a very impressive wheel cleaner to tide me over until my OG Terra Grapplers are used up and I get my wheels restored. https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys-CLD_997_16-Diablo-Cleaner/dp/B003TTRORQ
The "before" photo had already been cleaned and polished using 5-6 different methods that didn't make much progress after several hours of effort. I then had a quantum leap towards tolerable with the Chemical Guys wheel gel and a soft 3m scrub pad after a single 30 minute pass. I expect to get a few more spots out, but I'm approaching diminishing returns.
Both photos are the same wheel.

As JoeCova stated, you/we have to be careful when adding hoists into sealing framing members. Sealing joists are not engineered to carry load like that with out significant modification. I have a background in framing and home building as well as welding, so I am confident in the lift system I set up.Looks awesome. What are you using for the garage ceiling pulley set up? I'm trying to figure out a similar set up from my new RTT.
Crank seal and oil pump cover seal today. I'll button it back up tomorrow. 3rd time I've used the "bump the starter" method to remove the crank bolt with an old 3/4 ratchet on an 80. Works like a charm. For the oil pump cover screws, I clean them out with brake cleaner and use the correct phillips bit with a 1/4" impact gun. Tap them in tight with a hammer first. Backs them right out.
