SILVER Star
I gather the scroll on the left in the pictures is the rear half of the water pump housing... correct? I've never seen a design like that before.

If you value cash on a petty investments. Again, I don’t see the value. Even if it was worth a million dollars in 10 years, it’s just cash.
Send all GMT400s/800s my way.

All that open space and it looks nice and warm. I would stroll closer to that mountain and climb it.Project “winter fan clutch” for the S/C’ed ‘93. Current blue clutch with ~65g 50k fluid keeps the engine cool throughout the AZ summer, but makes the belts bark, and puts a strain on power. So, new blue clutch, filled with 40g of 25k silicone oil, 1FZ-FE fan with a spacer from the late Tools R Us. TYC radiator, new set of belts. Trail ride yesterday, ambient temps in the low 70s; engine temps via a Koso gage reading from the head coolant outlet were 172 to 184F. Belts are quiet. Truck feels a lot more lively, but probably still too cool, as the thermostat is barely open.

I see Four Peaks from the house here every day. I thought about a hike up Brown’s Peak - the highest peak at the left of the formation, at 7657ft. Parking lot is at 5750ft. Supposedly there’s some rock scrambling needed, and perhaps a rope would be helpful, don’t know, these are interweb tidbits. My real issue is that there are black bears and cats - mountain lions - up there. All that open space and it looks nice and warm. I would stroll closer to that mountain and climb it.
Everything you just mentioned is all the more reason to go up there and explore it.I see Four Peaks from the house here every day. Love those chrome door handles! The Eagle has landed. Driver did a great job. He's from Miami and did not like our cold central Missouri weather today!

That's too clean to rebuild. I can pull my drivetrain and you can rebuild that. I'll take that oneAnother one coming out for a fresh rebuild! One of the nicest 80’s I have ever been around.

It's called a KwikLift. Company stopped producing them due to steel costs but they can be found cheap enough on FBM.Love those chrome door handles!
What is your lift under the 100?
Yeah, well. I don’t need to be anywhere near a mountain lion. A bobcat caught on the trail cam in my yard (or on the green of the 10th hole of the golf course here, for that matter…) is enough.Everything you just mentioned is all the more reason to go up there and explore it.![]()
I totally agree mate! Your shop looks nicer than the Heritage Museum!Ofer, Most people don’t understand the logic of the best structurally engineered mass manufactured vehicle ever designed…. By any car manufacturer in the late 20th century.
This is coming from someone who built one and destroyed it and spends all of his professional time now rebuilding and maintaining these relics of another time.
