People spent far more on a McLaren F1. It can’t ever go where this 80 can. Toyota designed the 80 at its finest hour. I think all around it’s the best ever made. And if you have this kind of money then by all means.
Ofer, Most people don’t understand the logic of the best structurally engineered mass manufactured vehicle ever designed…. By any car manufacturer in the late 20th century.

This is coming from someone who built one and destroyed it and spends all of his professional time now rebuilding and maintaining these relics of another time.

Onur, your shop has a serious problem - That Blazer/Chevy truck could bring a multitude of diseases that can jump species and infect the remaining population, it should be culled ASAP before the infection spreads to others in the heard.

Posting this up regarding the theft of a really nice 40th Anniversary CE here. I have an Apple Air Tag hidden in my rig to help me find it if it gets stolen. It's very cheap insurance. My wife likes that she can see where I'm at on the road on my to and from the trail, too. It's very easy to find a spot to put it in the back somewhere. YMMV. And I'm very sorry to hear about the theft of that 80, or anyone's. That is really crummy.
I have one in all of my cars, another thing I would suggest is to remove the speaker in the air tag that chimes when pinged, car thieves can hear it and toss out your tracker.

If you want a vehicle and have **** you money you buy the example that best meets your desires. Cost is irrelevant. Somone spending 80k on an imported 80 series aren't buying as a 2nd or third car. This is car 15 or 20. They assume it'll appreciate or at the very least not depreciate.

When you have wealthy friends with means to collect cars you realize it's a world most don't understand.

These are people who pay others to find the cars they want and have curated collections.
I think it just comes down to value. I think your point about wealth is misunderstood. Just because someone has millions doesn’t mean they spend it without care. I have a lot of cars, I like them all but I don’t value them as much as other things.

At no point did I say or assume they spend without care. But the ability to buy what you want lifts some of the limitations.

Ya, crazy. I do like white but, I don’t see more value in this than the $12,000 cruiser i bought.
Value? One will go up in value. The other is yours.

If you value cash on a petty investments. Again, I don’t see the value. Even if it was worth a million dollars in 10 years, it’s just cash.
