Looks great that is my choice for a front bumper. Did you go without the fog light cut outs? Also how long did you wait?
I think it looks killer, very stoked on how it turned out. Yes, no extra features just the basic bumper option. Ordered in June, received a couple weeks ago and painted it myself. But I recently saw on Instagram they had some in stock so might be the time to order and not have the wait.

Thank you

Very subtle change. But trimed the unnecessary angle that was on the bumper corner.

Did new things and old things. That pulley is not like the others 😂
Amongst other tests. If you can take the crankshaft bolt off without holding the pulley, could be a bad sign. If you use a 4x torque multiplier with a cheater bar and can't turn the crankshaft bolt clockwise, might be another sign. Odd having more water in the oil pan than oil too. All signs.

Scored some absorbent pads too. And some slugs that are thick.

Installed the SolveFunction fender flare plugs and replaced the rear door and hatch weatherstrip. Gave her a bath, ready for another week of boredom.

Just burned some fuel and enjoyed my freshly rebuilt 1FZ.

Installed some Ark fender splash guards, as the factory ones were long gone. They fit really well, other than the two clips over the steering box- which isn't their fault. I installed the Delta frame brace between the box and frame. That moves the box out 1/4" and makes those clips not quite reach.

Cleaned it up and vacuumed it out.

Installed a star mount on the roof for the starlink.

Good weekend!

Installed a Delta tailgate storage panel. I can’t say enough about how well built these things are. Cuts and holes are laser precise, hardware is stout and the directions are fantastic. Took a good three hours (I work slowly when making permanent changes) but nothing went wrong at all. Amazing.

I’m getting way better at this than I’d like to admit. 3rd time this trans, and 4th time tcases have been in/out in the past 4 months. But at least gave me an opportunity to make some adjustments and add heat shielding to the trans tunnel.

Swapping to a higher stall torque converter because in double low, it’ll push through the brakes. Not being able to stop sure made the Rubicon an exciting shake-down trip.

Spent the weekend in the Mojave working with Overland Bound and NPS documenting hiking trails for damage and signs. Love that desert. Now with the main LRA tank I can get almost 800 miles of range. Did almost 2000 miles this weekend. Average 21 mpg including some off road. Love this 1HDFT engine. Best diesel ever made which is all mechanical. Single wire runs it.

Lost the clutch main and the pedal was stuck to the floor in down town LA so I drove 400 miles without clutch home (challenge in LA traffic with an 8000lb rig). Part already ordered and I'll have a rebuild kit with me now and a spare slave.

Does his kit come with any sound deadening/protective padding like the hurricane fab one?

Drove it to the PO box to get a package

No but they have an interior and exterior carpet kit in development. I’ll just use leftover sound deadener. Truth is, I already have it stuffed and I’m not sure it’ll make much difference. But if you rocked it empty, maybe.
