What happened!!!???
Coming down the road from the ski area that I've driven a million times in a million conditions. Driving normal speed, going around a right curve downhill, and it just slipped. Slid into the wall and pinballed a full 360 (nose first, 180, rear corner, 180). The spin set me right back in the road, straight and under control. Happened in a split second, hardly have a visual memory of it. I'm fine, couple small bruises on my left arm. Pretty damn bummed. I guess we'll see what insurance thinks it's worth, but they'll definitely total it. It is what it is.

Dang, feel for you.

Installed 20mm coil spacers to even out the rake a little

I need to do this as well, the Dobinsons set up is great but there is a distinct forward down angle. Not bad and I don’t mind it, but it would look better. The 20mm look right. I was having trouble trying to decide on which size of spacer. I should have done it during the bushing replacement.

Tossed a 1” spacer in the front today. 37s needed a bit more breathing room before I start cutting. Sitting pretty level now.

Looking good...careful of putting too much stress on the front bumper with the hoist though...those eyes are not very strong and looking like you were just using for extra safety and not actual lifting.

Mine from the PO...most likely had a yank that did this, but just saying. I'm working on beefing mine up as I like the bumper, but disappointed about the eye strength. And letting my son help out since he was around this day to do the crawling around this time.... ;)

I just replaced almost every external bolt on the T-case.

One bolt is NLA as far as I can tell. It is the 97mm one near the vibration dampener.

They were getting rusty and had evidence of galvanic corrosion. I don't want to be fighting bolts a few years down the road when I decide to go to lower t-case gears.

All new sensors, and some bracketry as well. 2 of the sensors were inexpensive at $15, and the third was Toyota specific at about $50.

I am still cleaning the grease off of it. It was covered in it when I picked it up from a junkyard a few weeks back.

I was for sure lifting the whole truck from those little guys lol wouldn’t trust them for a real pull though. I was more worried about the weight of the axle on my brake lines. Next up in the purchase list.

Sucks but junk goes quickly. There is a similar truck for $6000 on craigslist in Boulder now. Doesn't need as much work and is drivable.

I wanted it primarily for the cloth seats and door cards, but also need a straight and rust free front left fender and hood, in addition to other random stuff. Well worth the$1000 in my opinion.

I got some stuff done this weekend. CDL switch, I still need to do the #7pin mod, added the shifter extention for the transfer case, installed an ARB front bumper, battery was just floating around so I installed a OEM battery mount and OEM radiator cap. Pulled the rear seats and started removing stuff to try to fix my fuel gauge, hopefully I'll get to that today, it had too much fuel to really do anything. I'll be looking into the oil leak next week while on vacation among other things.

Went to Merus Adventure Park with the Ozark Overland Adventure family, about 60-70 rigs. Had a blast, I will be back.

Yessir. Chocolate chip is my favorite and this thing is ridiculously warm!
Nice dude! I don't have any pics but I was just wearing mine while out wheeling this weekend too.

Cruiser looks great. How do you like that suspension setup?

I don't have anything bad to say about it other than I've had a couple rocks rub against my remote reservoirs in the rear. 😂 I like the VT coils, they're super smooth going through the ruts and seem to handle slow rock crawling stuff good. I've had passengers in the truck that are used to riding in tacomas and stuff and everyone comments that the 80s comfortable in comparison. Has a decent rake to it but I have a set of spacers to I need to throw on.
