I basically only memorized a few speeds

95:65
110:75

80:55
This would be enough to keep me from owning a jdm cruiser.....

I swear some of you will find any reason.

I watched my gps speed once, noted where it was in the speedo and that's it.

Oh no... My speedo reads 95 when I'm going 65

Around town I don't even pay attention in just go with the flow of traffic.

Honestly for me it's a small price to pay for the diesel. The simplicity of no electronics on the engine or trans. The cool features you don't have. And the uniqueness of it. B

Got this 08/1991 HDJ81 VX Limited in for a bunch of work. We don’t often see them in this top trim. We first saw this one about three years ago right after it was imported. It came in for a full 150-point inspection and water pump + timing belt. We determined it was a true 90kms Cruiser and not a roll back.

Here is a bunch of pics of all the super cool things that came on these top trim VX Limited 81’s.

It’s still low mile three years later. When I first inspected the Cruiser three years ago, I was like wow this 1HDT is in excellent condition.

Bell Lexus in North Scottsdale AZ has been a great place to shop. They presently list the oem driveshaft 37110-60520 for $349.46. Shipping is VERY reasonable.
Great pricing, great customer service and fast turn-around. First ordered from them on Amazon and now just order direct.
Really happy with them.
Oh, man...I know that Lexus shop...that's my old stomping ground! Spent 22 years in and around that area before moving back "home" to the PNW.

I sometimes really miss the desert...but then I remember the 115 degree weather and just nope the fk right out.

BUT...when i do go back to visit, it only takes me about 24 hours to acclimate to the heat and it's like I never left.

Ordered a new Tom Woods DC front shaft as my current one is now long for this world many miles from home

It's not a shade. It's to keep it warm in the winter.

That's the same teim package I have minus the winch

I recently pulled the shock switch, washer button and rear heat button and replaced them with blanks.
