Replaced the manual tranny to a fully hydro automatic. Yay! 13 hours of work for 3 people. Problems:
- next time make sure to check which plate belongs between the tranny and an engine, so we don't have to cut a hole for converter screws
- there's nowhere to connect the kickdown cable (it shifts okay though, only minor flare between 2/3) - - I guess I'll try tightening it, might fix the problem
- the rear driveshaft is too short (I'm in FWD only now), apparently because I had a HF2AV previously. Going to put it back as soon as I manufacture a cable actuator for the center lock
- BUT IT WORKS!! :D I'm happier than ever. Finally I can drive like a normal person, not like a 20 ton truck.. :)

Want to sell that drive shaft?

Strictly Toyota. I love when cruiser guys say that you should get a car if you want a fast vehicle. I say just get a Supra as well.

Let me know how that works if you get to a high altitude? I've been thinking about getting one.
I’ve used in in the past at about 8000. Wasn’t perfect but it worked.

It's not a shade. It's to keep it warm in the winter.

That's the same teim package I have minus the winch

I recently pulled the shock switch, washer button and rear heat button and replaced them with blanks.
Where did you find the blanks for the pulled switches? Make your own? My shock switch is now useless so……

But any dealer probably has them. I was making a large order and tossed them in

Hi, no, sorry. I'm overseas, and in any case I'm putting my original viscous TC back. Love it in the snow. I'm sure it'll fit then, the length difference between the two cases is the same as what I'm missing in driveshaft. Thanks though :)

I drive by feel. New OD gearing in tcase has changed my groundspeed and havent figured it out yet. Have intended for years to put a few small numbers over the speedo

Fibonacci is a helluva deal!
