Excellent. Thank you for posting. I have a trailer hitch bike rack that can accommodate up to 3 bikes. Maybe I just try it with one or 2 bikes to start with. I would t want to be dropping a mess onto the highway in traffic.
Same here with the bike rack. I've carried two mountain bikes several times, three a couple times. Not a problem.

Good. Does the hitch attachment come with any bolts or did you acquire those separately?
As I recall I bought them separately. Two of the holes are threaded, two are not. The correct size/pitch is something I've forgotten, but the info is somewhere here on MUD.

I might have to go this route just for a bike rack. Seems secure in your opinion? Nice bike.
Thanks! I like the bike more every time I ride it.
For the mtb riders out there, I’m 6’0 and it’s a medium.

The hitch is the Curt from Amazon and the bottom bolts are the ones Amazon recommends with the purchase. This hitch is more than adequate, nothing else was in stock and the Man-A-fee one was $275.
The top bolts are M 12x1.25 by like 50mm or longer.
My local HD had none of these bolts so ordered from Amazon and the tops are from my spares bin. Possibly from a suspension part or from removing the third row of seats?
The cruiser/hitch interface is solid and I wouldn’t hesitate to hang 4 bikes from it. The Craigslist bike rack will most likely break first!

I love sleeping in mine. It's just so easy to pull over, jump in the back and you are asleep in minutes. No bothering about set-up, no issues with wind noise or basically anything else. Cool way you did it too. 👍

Added bonus, last night camping it poured rain, even hailed. This morning, more of the same. Took me five minutes to break down camp and hit the trail. No packing up a soggy tent or soggy RTT.

Cheers

Did a small bit of the first section of the WABDR in my ‘97; it was a 95 degree day and the first warm day test going uphill since the new cooling system update last summer (block flush, Denso radiator, AISIN water pump, fan clutch, thermostat), Wits End hoses, OEM heater control valve). It was a great day but my buddy (Disco2) and I hit some snow at 3,060’. It wasn’t a lot but we opted to head back down.

Looking forward to more summer action.

Video to follow soon.

Testing out the new front swaybar. Total gamechanger for linked trucks. Feels like I finally have it dialed in where I want

My Pa taught me as a wee lad that a lot of the time 4wheel drive just gets you further out before you get stuck. Now l got a LC! Lock the center... lock the rear... lock the front. Wish l had something to winch off of... wish l had a winch...

Those BDRs are awe!some!! Rack em up!
