No, so what would be the purpose of doing so?
Have it go from the corner to just behind the rear door a couple inches off the body to help keep trees off. Wouldnt even have to go to just behind the door, even half way under the window. Like a body slider/bumper that would follow the body line.

@jcardona1 has done something like this. Look up his build thread.

Carpet is out and being replaced. The damp jute is a pain in the ass, made easy by concentrated simple green and brushes. Cleaning cleaning cleaning, laying the new stuff in. Also installing kilmat, though not as liberally as some would. New exterior window belt runs and pedal covers arrived as well.

Fun to be back doing some stuff to my 80!

Reverse designed the Cruisin Offroad skids. The sliders are next and if Jason (Cruisin Offroad- RETIRED) and I can come to a final agreement the front and rear bumpers will follow soon. Made a few "openings" changes on the plates due to clearance issues. But all good to go now. Will be available on the website soon.

I will still keep my CREEPER skid plate in production as well. Just trying to appeal to the masses.

Nice!! Can't wait to see the sliders. Do you have a design yet that you can show before production?

Installed carpeted plywood that slots into two holders riveted into the drawers, so i can sleep in the back and not get woke up by the other campers at the overland expo next week. When not in use it lays flat because the hooks are door hinges.View attachment 3322309View attachment 3322310View attachment 3322312View attachment 3322313View attachment 3322314
I love sleeping in mine. It's just so easy to pull over, jump in the back and you are asleep in minutes. No bothering about set-up, no issues with wind noise or basically anything else. Cool way you did it too. 👍
