I am not sure what part of the US you have been frequenting but I have never seen a fully auto weapon in a convenience store.

Now, semi autos and hand guns are a different story. But you still got to pass the background check.

This place is only an hour or so from me. It's an amazing store.

Whoosh!!!!!!!

Another set of seats repaired. This would be the sixth set in the shop. It’s becoming fairly routine now and this set, so far, has turned out to be the easiest. Everything was straight forward. White caps missing and gears were stripped. @gamiviti to the rescue. Time to order up more gear sets 🤔

When applying Dynamat on quite a few vehicles now, you learn some tricks along the way.

The old process for holes/studs was to apply the mat and feel around for the hole once the mat was rollered. Then cut a square using an exacto knife and peel away the little piece to expose the hole.

Well this time around the @kaizen_inserts “Holester” took care of it in one quick move. It can be done it one of two ways: 1. If a random piece of Dynamat was going down as a space filler with a hole/thread/stud that needed to be exposed, the mat was placed on a piece of wood and the Holester was used to punch out the hole. Crazy quick and perfect hole every time or 2. The Dynamat was applied and rolled out and the hole/thread/mount was identified and the Holester was used to just punch out the hole.

Crazy simple and looks more professional.

While on the topic of @dynamat_official sound deadening, this JDM81 needed the diesel and MT tire noise eliminated from cabin so that a conversation can be heard even with the radio off.

This JDM81 has the working fridge/freezer center console but also horrible shag carpet that looked like it belonged in a 70s rape-y panel van. Carpet was pulled and will be used as a cut template for the new carpet. But first the Dynamat was applied and mass loaded mat will go on top before new carpet goes over. This WILL sound like the inside of a coffin when done.

This JDM81 had the entire floor done all the way up to under the dash, all doors and quarter panels. It took a total of four boxes of Dynamat Extreme and four rolls of tape. I like the tape because when running wires or dealing with doors it prevents getting the edges of the aluminized back from slicing little cuts on our hands.

The ceiling was not done only because this is a 91 so it’s not the convenient one piece roof panel. I’m not touching this ceiling panel because it’ll never go back the same way and will look like ass with the discoloration.

Total time involved was 20 hours.

I had to limp it off the freeway.

It's not that simple. It's definitely one of the two.
and you have trans fluid? i blew a line and all i had was a rapidly degrading trans and then just neutral.

that and a huge ATF mess all over the under carriage and ground. you probably would have noticed that?

I checked the fluid to see if it smelled. It has fluid. And the underside is dry.

I don't want to knock anyone trying to help, but I am a pretty competent mechanic. I grew up in a car house hold. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and have a hole built 10 second 4700lb truck.

That carpet, if wet never dries either. And I mean like wet shoes wet, not leaking interior wet.

Plenty of diesel. I was using the diesel to run the engine while keeping warm along the side of the highway waiting on my buddy. Lol

Is that a manual or automatic?

It could be the Fetzer Valve.

Auto.
Mines an older hydro 442, so it's equipped with the simpler canuder valve.
