What is the maximum thickness you can bend with that? I bought one of these that seems to work well with my 20 ton press and pneumatic jack. Works well but, it will not handle larger/thicker jobs.

I'd cut a narrow section of aluminum to act as a backer and mix up some JB Weld to slather on the break and the backer-to-plastic areas. Fixed my broken upper door panel plastic that way and it's stronger than ever. I've found that the Weld-On product works great with acrylics, but causes crazing with Lexan (polycarbonate).You use the solvent glue and join the 2 pieces by a thin piece of lexan on each side.
