It's only a flesh wound...... it will heal up fine. I bet you will have a little permanent numbness on the tip. Mine always feels like I have something stuck under the half fingernail that grew back....
Holiday gift made useful
Non US throttle cable installed. Pretty easy job. Will definitely come in handy!
got it from vintageteqparts.com ( thanks @ToyotaMatt )
Mitre saw crushed the end of my thumb a few years back. They saved the thumb but it is mostly numb and I have bad arthritis in the first joint. Still works. Can't get through life without some bumps and bruises.
Somebody asked what a new 1fzfe sounds like. Well, there you go.

first post on mud but I’ve been stalking for a long time but I Added a snorkel and a set of rigid lights to the bumper till my ARB bumper comes in (hopefully by end of the week)
Changed the fluid on the transmission, transfer case and rear end, at some point the transfer case was filled with transmission fluid filled it back with 75-90 and the rear end fluid looked it was never changed in the 129k Miles of its life
Went on a quick New Years Day trip to explore some spots at the Oregon Coast. Weather was uncooperative but the 80 stayed mostly dry inside. View attachment 2544129

Finished patching the quarters on both sides that had rusted out. It's not perfect but it'll be behind the bumper so whatevs. Main thing is I cut all the old rusted crap out. Driver's side was even worse. Next up is repainting an upper lift gate I got from @slow95z along with a new window seal.
So far I'm seeing a big improvement over the Hella's, which surprised me since the Hella's were actually a really good light for the price. Distance is MUCH better with these. I got the 9" version of these lights. There's a bit more detail in the post I made in my build thread. Honestly, the only difference I'm aware of with the 8.5" and the 9" versions is that the 9" version that I have has daytime running lights (rectangle shaped lights around the outer edge of the light). Since the 80 doesn't use DRL, the 8.5" ones would work essentially the same.
