I have these and vouch for their fit and quality.

I was just about to order a replacement piece that I'm missing. Do you feel these are an upgrade over stock? The original do not seem to have issues until they're very old.

Upgrade? No.

I want to get some of the Rad Rubber liners since I do have a 1" body lift, but that specific fitment seems to be the main advantage I can imagine over stock (haven't put my hands on the Rad Rubber ones myself yet though.)

Lots of progress being made on the Cummins build 2.0. While I have the motor pulled for another rebuild, I figured I would get the monstaliner stripped down and get a proper professional Kevlar liner full color change done. I decided to go with Ford Abyss Grey for the color, the actual color came out a little bit darker given the thickness of the liner material and the amount/behavior of the metalic flake in the color...I really dig the color.
  • All of the body work prep has been completed
  • The door jams and engine bay have been sprayed.
  • Upper black trim has been repainted.
  • The hood scoop and hood louvers have been bonded to the hood.

The Rad Rubber pieces are this has and fit well covering the opening well. My 80 was missing one pice when I bought it and the others had some torn out mount holes so I ordered these.
I'll grab the missing piece from the dealer! Haha. Thank you!
I just ran the part numbers and the Toyota aprons are cheaper than the Rad Rubber if you get them online.

A little Fall weekend trip with a high ridge traverse and camping at 9000’.

I have the Rad Rubber Designs kit for my 80 and I would say it is an upgrade over OEM. They seem to block a bit more road debris and water than my OEM ones did.

Yeah I agree the Rad Rubber skirts are an upgrade in that they cover more area and are easy to trim and more pliable when using with aftermarket shocks. They do make ones for a 1” body lift as well. I’ve had mine for a month or two because with the original old, hard ones I‘d get an annoying rattling from the one hitting the steering box on washboards and dirt roads. I was also missing a few.

Got my Eaton e locker installed and headed out to Moab to go break her in before it starts getting cold and gross. Huge thanks to George at Valley Hybrids for getting the locker sent quickly and with everything I needed. I’m really bummed after talking to George the Eaton E Locker is now cheaper then the ARB Air locker due to them moving more stuff state side. I threw in a ARB front air locker this past summer and it already blew a o ring seal that is causing it to puke diff fluid out the breather when it’s locked. I’m sure it was due to installer error but still a bummer knowing I need to tear that all back apart. For now I just bring some spare gear oil and use it as little as possible

I had a auto locker in the back of my truck for the past year that makes sooo much noise when going around corners. Like out of the ordinary loud. I was surprised not to have any metal chunks spotted when I was pulling it out. Bigger surprise to me was how much less driveslop I have with the e locker which makes a hugeee difference in how it shifts, feels in parking lots, and engagement when getting on the gas on the highway after coasting. May seem silly but this difference makes me wonder how I lived with the rear auto locker for so long it was terrible in comparison.

Install on the Eaton was easy and worked flawlessly on the trail. Engagement and disengagement of the ARB is definitely a little quicker but I will take that all day over getting gear oil out the breather.

Moab was awesome, busy as always but good to get out there before the weather started to turn. We ran hells revenge on Sunday in 65 degree weather and 2 hours later it was 35 and raining like a mofo.

right on! Any feedback?
if i was gonna split hairs i would say to make a spacer for the other handle screw. But i know, more metal means more money, so is it worth it for a piece of mind, probably not. Otherwise love it, glad its not going to be sliding around my dash anymore. Thanks for another great product
