That sucks, I don't see it as racist, just a culture where people aren't raised with the same respects as others.. Any other ethnicity raised in the same environment could have the same biases, either way. But it still sucks.

We lost an area that was a public outdoor range (no club or fee's, open to all public) it was closed due to all the garbage people dragged out to that one place to shoot up and leave. Unfortunately when they closed it, all the idiot shooters just go to random places in the woods now to shoot their garbage, really they're just shooting themselves in the foot with this behavior, and dispersing their garbage further out. At least with the range the garbage was concentrated in one area.

Yep, happened when i lived in cali and its happened in az and will happen more in az. Glad there is guys doing cleanup, but it should be shooting related groups that at least pitch in. Im just not sure who you would contact to organize for that here. I knoe my buddy runs one in cali.

Took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge in WA checking out some sights on the way there and back. Got home and took the Jeep out for a topless ride in the cool, Fall afternoon.

1997 80-Series Landcruiser and 1995 Jeep YJ. Both sorta stock.

Took ole' Island Riot out to uwharrie. The Jeep in the front lost all breaks at the top of Daniel and took a free ride all the way down into a tree, really lucky he didn’t mess himself up, he was obviously shook up. The Jeep in the back blew up trying to pull the Jeep in the front off the trail. ISLAND RIOT TO THE RESCUE!!!!! I towed both rigs from the bottom of Daniel to the parking lot.....BEAST MODE...was insanely impressed with the power of the rig to be able to pull two anchors over and through the various obstacles.

crazy thing is I ran into a mud member down at uwharrie about 8 months ago with EXACT same story. jeeps blow up yotas pull em out.

Lost my bottom passenger caliper bolt on blueridge skyline drive in Va and avoided a catastrophic failure somehow and fixed it with just a tad of damage inside rim and turned 300k whilst out there
thanks to @OTRAMM for the heli coil and thanks to @beno for offering to help mud members are goodfellas for the most part.

Got some more goodies to complete the temp ham setup on the 80, till I learn what's what.

The mag mount has a nice wide base, and the antenna has a quick collapse option. Sweet. Now I just need to get home and have time off to play with the 80.

Your balls are too dry. Need to lube'em

Make sure to put some shock boots on those to protect the pistons. It makes a HUGE difference in longevity at a minimal expense. I use the generic ProComp ones you can get from 4WheelParts, part# EXP 12127.

Installed my part time hubs.. also found out that grease is mixing from the knuckle to the wheel bearings via the spindle.. guess I over greased the knuckle when I put the rcvs in a few hundred miles ago. I'm going to have the freshest grease in town because I'm an idiot

Initially thought 90, but seems like straight would never be pointed the wrong way and you could slip a socket over it if you ever wanted to remove the plug. Is there any concern about pressure building and blowing a seal somewhere?

Some good points. The amount of pressure you would be creating would not be a problem with a small amount. I would not fill an empty birf via a zerk. The idea is for you to combine it with something like an oil change where you just put 10 pump each time you change your oil to keep things topped off.

What little testing I have done did not conclude the best way to go. Buying a big box with all 3 zerks was not to costly, maybe just offer kit with all 3. Being metric that way you will always have some hard to find metric spare zerks.

Edit - No spares because I bought 8mm zerks for more grease transfer and the 80 series uses 6mm zerks........nevermind

What’s wrong with just sticking the grease gun tip in there, my harbor freight grease gun with flexible hose fits in there perfectly. You need to remove the bolt and check level anyways, too much grease There isn’t good either.

That said, straight with minimal area to get pulled out by accident has it's merits.
