What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (69 Viewers)

Did a rear brake overhaul. All new e-brake parts, new rotors, new calipers (NAPA Eclipse), new soft brake lines. This is 3 or so weeks after a front knuckle rebuild with all new brake parts including calipers. 2 weeks ago I installed a new double DIN head unit and backup camera. And today I tallied up the cost of parts I've bought for this truck in the past 60 days and poo'ed a little. Just under $4,700. Oops.

You should erase that. If your girl knows how to use the web you will be in trouble.

She’s not on Mud. It will remain a mystery to her. Of that I can assure you. Unless, of course, she decides to check bank statements.

Finally getting my winch mounted and bumpers finished. Hopefully completed by next weekend.

I like those LED lights in the park light holes. Any thread on how to do this? Might be good solution for Yoda, as the 4x4 labs front bumper does not have a great place to put a light.

Installed cup holder and dash bezel /phone holder. Thanks @bhicks for the follow up and fast delivery. Color match is right on. Also got a $175 wash/wax/detailing. Cup and phone holders because we're setting out on an almost 2 week trip to the hill country and then N. Arkansas. Wash/wax/detail because I have to somehow make it suddenly cloud up and rain as I'm pulling out of the %@$&#(% shop!

Looks good. Glad your happy with it all. You will learn real quick how much a good cup holder is such a nice addition to an 80. When I got my last 80 I had not had the time to install one of my cupholders for a few weeks. I was shocked at how annoying it was to not have it.

Holy hell, I have my work cut out for me... when I get home.

The wife called me, "what the hell did you buy this time?"
She says I need to get her a dolly for these big boxes if I keep buying stuff like this.
Thanks to @NLXTACY

*edit* I don't know what an "iator" is but apparently it's rad!
I believe those reviews must include some mention of sodomy. It's for the internet, so it helps his products show up in more searches.

I had a ScangaugeII mounted to an A-pillar pod, and while I loved the location, I was never fan of how it looked. Well, the SGII crapped out, so I've been running a cheap Bluetooth OBDII adapter and the Torque free app on my phone (which typically sits in a Panavise mount to the right of the stereo). I wanted to see Torque in the same position that my SGII was, so I used a Ram Mount 1" ball that is designed to be bolted to motorcycle handlebars. I simply unscrewed the factory grab handle screw, and replaced it with the ball and a longer bolt (idea shamelessly stolen from elsewhere on 'MUD). I might need a different Ram arm to put it just where I want it, but it should work out nicely. I'll probably use an old phone that I can dedicate to diagnostic duty to mount there, and leave my actual phone in the Panavise mount.

Think I might just have to get that setup to hold my phone, still haven't found a good place to hold my phone in the 80.

This is the link to the lights I used. The pics below are how I bent the tabs on the valance to mount the lights. It’s not the ideal mount but it works for me. If you have any other questions let me know.

swapped in the rewrapped wheel, shifter and center console lid that Craft Customs did - very happy with the way they came out

That looks really good. Mind sharing what it cost you?
