Waved my magic wand at the dent in my front left fender. Damn trees don’t move out of the way!

One of the rear OME shock had some indication of starting to leak. Inspection/testing revealed over time the gas has leaked out on both making them weak along with loss of dampening. Do for replacement anyway glad the leak showed up.

Hopefully an increase in MPG.:clap: I know you are thinking WTF increase in MPG.:lol: Other here have claim MPG increase with less:flipoff2:

Installed @Matthew Spencer 's cool 3D printed seat levers and a new DS seatbelt to replace the roached unit. Did not trace the cause of my low idle, nor clean my AFM, mostly because I wasn't able to successfully pull the multipin connector from the AFM. Didn't want to force it because the plastic is really baked and brittle, and breaking it would escalate the problem. So will go to mech during the week, who will do a comprehensive check for vacuum leaks, which he suspects it is.

I've been chasing a cooling issue on my truck since I bought it ~5yrs ago. Everytime i fix one thing, it moves the problem downstream. Lately I've been adding coolant, to the tune of about a half gallon a month or so.

A few weeks ago I discovered a leak in the heater mixing valve that was burning off a heater line so not hitting the ground.

I got the heater valve during the week, so got around to replacing it today.

P.O. had done the PHH bypass around the brake booster, so I shortened it to b/n the booster and manifold. I also discovered that the bypass hose clamp on the bottom was halfway off, no wonder I was losing so much coolant.

Hopefully this takes care of it.

Right now it’s too much. I’d have to sell for close to $100. 1/3 of the cost is just the keenserts. Ugh. I think the price on this will prevent me from making more. But at least I have one :p
If it worked well in supporting an iPad as a permanent solution, $100 doesn't seem overly outrageous to me. But what do I know?

@RFB
Are you referring to a faulty charcoal canister as the root cause of the fire?
I am not sure, but having a fume issue leads me to that. My 80 just started with the pressure thing when pulling the gas cap, I have another canister just need to install.

Just finished a full fluid change. Engine oil and filter, front and rear diff's, transfer box and transmission. Also greased up the birfs and drive shaft.
Had some help from the garage angel...
