Cutestly, it turns out that if your rear diff breather is clogged, eventually you will blow the rear axle inner oil seal and have gear oil all over your garage floor as well as a sloppy mess of grease/oil all over everything. Now I don't consider myself an expert, as this has only happened to me twice. Maybe by the third time this big clay nugget I call my head will start to understand.

Finished my head gasket job then on to new axles.

Decided to try the trail gear rubber wipers this time.

What did you use and where did you get you magnetic sheet? I like this idea. I threatened to duct tape mine, but I actually LIKE to use mine. I just haven;t had time to completely go through it to lube / adjust / clean it.
Got the sheet from a sign shop 24x48 and trimmed it down some.
They do signs for vehicles all the tome thats why the sign guy told me its good up to 70 mph,i was oing to use a plastic compatible paint and match the green on my LC

Make sure the magnet contact the metal roof dont trim it to exact size of glass,i had 2" front and back and that much on the sides door to door

I didn't do so much but I did change out the PCV valve.

I also fixed my horn - first time it has worked since I bought the truck. :bounce:

I also tried to diagnose a rough running issue I have when the revs are around 1500. My plugs, wires and dizzy bits were changed out back in March so I am not sure where to start and beer has got in the way of clear thinking...

My last effort was ordering a Tough Dog 3" kit from @reevesci :flipoff2:

Dude, we don't comment on Toyotas here. We only make fun of Heeps. Heeps suck therefore their owners suck. Direct correlation.
scientifically proven I might dare to include

rewired batteries and wired up rack mounted rigids SS in the rear. Getting everything ready to head westttttttttttttt

I can't take it any longer. I sold my favorite Cruiser ever to my sister, a white 97. No regrets, but it is my favorite color ever, and a white locked 97 Collectors Edition is my unicorn. I have a Desert Dune metallic 97 Collectors Edition and it is great, but I just keep wishing for a white 80 again. I decided to see how tough vinyl wrap is and ordered enough 3m material for a fender. First effort is a bit lacking but it went really well I think. Time to order more and get my white cruiser, at least until I find a true locked CE 97.

Technically it was last weekend, but I drove it on a 5,000 mile road trip to Wyoming, Utah and Colorado to enjoy the the eclipse, the mountains, the desert and some great friends. Oh, and to visit Walter White.

I totally get this effort...more than you know:

After seeing the Lewis & Clark 80 in the above post I was wondering about doing this too...would be sweet to wrap an 80 in a custom skin...or a color as you are doing. Keep us updated..looking good!

More info please. This might be a cost effective solution to make my 93 look less sh!tty!
