I'm always looking for reasonably priced med kit bags. I refuse to get the prestocked ones as they are over priced. Where did you get yours?

Not the cheapest but not crazy expensive either. The bag is good quality and comes prestocked with a good assortment. I add a SAM splint, battle dressings, additional tapes and gauze, plus Benadryl, Advil, Tylenol, Aspirin, Zantac, and some other stuff I'm forgetting.

You can order it empty too, I believe. I just like it partially stocked then add to it.

WOW!

OMFG WOW!!!! How did you bend that???
Yeah, slow speed accident and literally only hit the tire. Bent the hell out of the control arm.

Well done! Looks great! Did you reinforce the bottoms of the factory battery boxes?

Funny you should ask, I thought about putting some 18GA sheet under each but couldn't find any reported issues on mud. Has anyone had any issues with the factory battery boxes and the extra weight?

Following @NLXTACY instructions, I just trimmed the bottom fins on each battery a bit, got extended j hooks, and built some new tie-downs with aluminum angle. The fit was snug, with less than a mm to spare on the sides. I've been running a 31M in the factory location this way for 18 months with no sign of a problem.

Already have Slee 30mm spacers up front but may need more after adding the extra weight, we'll see...

Thanks!

I would include concentrated iodine, zip lock bags, 50 butterfly stitches and superglue. I've stitched up more students than I care to admit, myself included.

My problem is I stock them and they then disappear or get left behind. I have two in different parts of China, one in Argentina and three or four that disappear on student field trips. It gets tiresome rebuilding them but is the cost of doing business.

Yep. I have all of those. I've used the butterfly stitches multiple times.

I keep soft bristle tooth brushes in there as well. They are sterile and good for cleaning out wounds. A buddy works at the Oral B plant so I get a box of them now and again. (I have freaking toothbrushes everywhere!)

Finally got my moldy front seats replaced with Corbeau Baja XRS suspension seats. Much more comfortable than the factory seats

Now I need to get the leather on the doors arm rests replaced, along with the center console lid, shifter, and steering wheel. The seats alone made it look 1000x nicer inside.

Reason I asked is that I recently added a heavy duty Group 31 battery tray to my hundred. I was surprised at how flimsy the 100 tray is.
I didnt known that the 80 trays would work for a 31 but they are structurally a lot stronger than the 100 tupperware lid

More work on the drawers. I'll be monstalining them some evening this week and reinstalling

Didn't want any rattling d ring pulls like I put on my previous cargo box. These allow me to bolt in my fridge slide on either side and eye bolts to tie down stuff.

So I finally actually did something on an actual weekend, not just time off from work(what I consider my weekend).

So a while back when I got my East Coast Bullbar in NH, I also got a rear bumper/tire carrier. I finally put it on.

Had to do a little trimming...

Ended up like this. But I had to go to an auto parts store to get new nuts and studs for the mounting of the spare since I broke one taking off the nut. That east coast rust is no Joke.

I went to Americas tire and got a new 315 spare to match the 4 on there that I got from @TOY350 .

The bumper is very stout, just like @fj40toycruiser told me it was. I got some grade 8.8 m12 1.75 bolts to bolt it to the frame horns. Then I used a small aluminum strip to relocate my plate for meanwhile(not pictured). Next items on my list are fix PS leak and get AC done. But she is comin along nicely.

Forgot to mention, if you go to their Amazon store and enter code: RC10POFF for a 10% discount.

Got her back together. I like the amber lights, glad I swapped back. Also, the bronze wheels just weren't doing it for me so I went back to grey plus no center caps. Liking it better.

Also, took it to Grand Rapids and made a deal on a GX470. Gonna be my oldest daughter's new ride. Time for some "120 series Toyotas" tech.

Also, my younger daughter peeled the rear flare on a tree wheeling one of the toughest trails on our property. She likes coming to the house via trail instead of the driveway. I'm so proud!

We'll get it bandaged back up in no time.

Usually it's the youngest in the family that goes soft, not the oldest...

Nothing off road this weekend. But did walk out from the market to see the owner of this Defender and his kids ogling my raggedy ol' 93. I know nothing about Land Rovers but I know that his cost more than $2k.

Crazy Karma or timing. Whatever it is. I purchased two seatbelt restore options from Seat Belt Webbing Replacement yesterday. Drove the 92 today to stretch her legs a little bit. Tried to retract the seat belt, nothing. Swapping in the spare and sending the other two off tomorrow.
