Should space the second O2 sensor out so it's not directly in the exhaust stream.
Correct, it mounts on the 2nd oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter and restricts flow to the sensor, hence turns off the check engine light if it pertains to that code.

Put in the @pfran42 LED kit. Realized I don't have door lights. D'OH! Also having some issues with the lights turning off when the doors are open. I think I've got some electrical gremlins manifesting themselves. Too lazy to dig into it now, got bigger fish to fry.

I have to say, after putting on new rotors, fixing the axle seals, and new OME shocks (all 4 were shot...) this thing is AWESOME. Still plenty of rattles and shakes & what not (think the shakes are from the old tires, next on the list is a new set). Anyway I am excited to actually be able to drive this thing on the road.

I have also been spotting the land cruisers around town. You know how you never really notice a car till you have one? I never noticed the land cruisers. Now, I freak out when I see one.

Yup, used to do something similar in my un-catted Evo. Those O2's just screw into the exhaust piipe; spark plug anti-foulers worked great for spacing out those sensors.

Dragging bikes to BOLA for a 10 day lap around Baja Sur

wonder how the PRK smog testers would view that O2 sensor mod...

If doing their job correctly, they find it and fail it.

Just got back from tour of Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Southern California. Before i left i dropped my truck off with @Mdej3 in Tampa for a little freshen up. Picked her up and she looks beautiful. More photos of that later. In the meantime my new carpet arrived along with many other bits. Will need to take a few days off to rebuild her.

Installed trail gears spindle nut lock set. Cool product.....and...I need to install new spindles and bearings. One side is very tight. I had it toured to 20 ft lbs before. Now when I try 20 on that side it's locked up. Backed to 15. Tight but turns. All new parts ordered and I have set used spindles that have been waiting on shelf.

This was last weekend. Built my NWTI front bumper. It went together really well. Plan on doing the grinding this weekend.

Damn excited to finally get a shop to do Cruiser maintenance and projects! 30X60. So damn excited. Been having to sneak work on the truck in the apt parking lot for several years now and looking forward to my own piece of dirt.
Oh...and the house too. But the shop!!!

Most welcome LS1, too bad all these remote places are being corrupted by encroaching civilization, wish they just leave those natives alone.

AMEN!!!!! Doing 3 combat tours in Iraq really opened my eyes to this! We complain about things changing in America, but a lot of the Middle Eastern Countries are being "wiped clean" of all their artifacts, and the ancient grounds are being destroyed daily! People of ALL backgrounds need to be awoken to this.... because if it continues at its current pace we are going to without ANY regions to explore and enjoy! People need to see the "big picture"!!
