I'm sure no worries about the non-tech in this case. Like I said so many dog lovers here. Google the dogs last will and testament to help put it into perspective.

Yeah man. All of our dogs are rescues. We will get another. It's what we do.

Finally got my full size spare under the 80 thanks to @NLXTACY and his kit. I found a good used 315/75/16 BFG and it's tight but it's not hitting anything and it fits!

Nice! I just did mine 2 weeks a go and my tire rubbing the pan hard bar :(. Not sure if it's a big deal or not, but I'll keep an eye on it. What hitch is that and where'd you get it?

After the hood almost took my son's head off earlier this week, I decided that it was finally time to replace the lift supports. Then after reading through a few posts on here, I decided to go ahead and replace the rear hatch supports too, and to order all four from the LiftSupportsDepot.com ebay site. The rear supports were $29.90 for the pair, and the hood supports were $16.49 each. No shipping charges or taxes either.

The reason that the hood supports are priced individually is because they come in a right side, and left side, configuration. That was something that I'd forgotten until AFTER I'd already installed the left support on the right ball stud. Other than that minor installer error, it was very easy. I spent most of the time simply removing and then reinstalling the bolts.

My wife bought it for me a few years back. think it came from northern tool. sorry your tire is rubbing, mine is used and a little worn so that might be why it cleared

Took my son fishing. Drove the 93. Set the cruise on the way back and got the flashing cruise light. Did a google search on it and will be trying to get this sorted out tomorrow. I know zero about cruise control as my 92 doesn't have cruise. I couldn't afford it when I ordered it back in 1992.

Finally replaced my cracked windshield today. Hopefully this also eliminates my wet passenger floorboard.

My '93 does this every once in a while. Usually after the truck is turned off it resets the CC and then it works fine. One time I think I might have had to pull the fuse to it to reset it.

Ive never figured out what causes it.

You should park a little closer to that brick wall. It's a good way to remove your fender flares if you still have them. :p

Found a weird rainbow mode activated by toggling the sunroof switch at the same time as the pressing the ant. Up switch, while simultaneously pumping the brake pedal 14 times.

Not specifically this weekend, but many weekends. I recently returned from a solo, 4000 mile road trip. It was my first extended trip living out of the cruiser. We started in Colorado and went through Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and ended back in Durango. Woke up on the beach, in the redwoods, above the clouds, in the rain, in the rain, and in the rain. I saw one of the most beautiful sunrises my eyes have seen, then didnt see the sun for five days while in the pnw. Showers were few and far between, and i lost a pound or two or five. I went to a nudist natural hot spring, surfed for the first time, and had a quilt made for me, all courtesy of my good friend Anna. I laughed and cried (when i saw an ICON FJ in Malibu) and got lost a few times. I made pine tea at Mt. Rainier and also smashed my digital camera at Mt. Rainier (so all the photos here are 35mm film). Trips like these are good for the soul. Just a constant sensory stimulation that humbles you more and more with every mile. Oh, and did i mention the cruiser had not a single problem the whole way? Anna took this first photo of the cruiser and I, above Malibu, where we woke up one morning. :)

@LS1FJ40 thoughts and prayers out to you and yours bro.

Damn dogs give us so many good memories its mind-blowing, and sucks when they move on to that great trail in the sky.

We're close on the 'put-down' with ours as well due to cancer. Not looking forward to it by any stretch.

Fixed peeling gutter trim, detailed exterior...no-more bird turd stains! Halfway done with replacing my visors (got distracted my kids). Time to go get dirty again!

That does look like a great trip!!!

@FJP971 my wife likes the flares and I kinda want them off... soooo... if I accidentally hit them it wouldn't be so bad. I do keep hitting the mirror on the suplort on the way out though.

Finally got around to flushing my brakes and LSPV. Starting at RR, the bleed screw was clogged so I had to remove it and clean it out, the other 3 had no issues. Used the cheapo vac pump from Harbor Fright, 3 quarts of fluid, and eventually (damn compressor) it all went well. Only have 132K on my rig and the crap that came out of the lines was unreal. Glad to have that job behind me, for a while.......

Figured out the sleeping arrangements for our trip. Seriously. Going to make a second deck for the sleep platform. This is my son's idea. He'll sleep flipped around but using the top of the fridge.

Didn't like how much tension was on the Wits' End cord so I put a little hook I had laying around to kee the tension off the plug. I will eventually move the Anderson power pole but time is of the essence!
