Drove down some old roads in Bankhead forest, don't have those wide open views like you guys do out west. Of course, you guys don't have Banjo music in your forests

Replaced shift lever with new OEM and replaced O/D switch too. Then went for a drive. When I'm not with my cruiser, she misses me.

Is this with a 30mm coil spacer up front? could you post another pic or 2, looking at going with 315's when I return from deployment. Thanks

So, after my CTW2016 adventures, we had installed stock trunion on my pax side to get home, leaving the DS side with Slee trunion and hence, she was pulling to the right for 800miles drive home.
Yesterday I decided to remove the Slee from the DS side and put OEM ones.

I had both installed OME yellow bushings and these Slee 3degree at the same time so I didn't have allignment specs on either, but with both - and it was 0 degree pax side and -1 degree DS side.

Yes it was not to specs.

For a year and a half it didn't have any tread wear issues, drove great, never had issues with tracking straight, no driveline vibrations even at 80mph or at any speed. Logged about 12k miles.

And so I left it alone. I am not sure what is the long term effect if I left it at that but it didn't bother me I guess...

Not sure if there is a specific tool to remove these race but this and hammer worked for me.

After removing the remaining Slee bearing and OEM in, I drove home 108 freeway miles and 15 side street, and she behaved well just like it was before.
No issues. I will get her to an allignment shop tomorrow and see the numbers.

Swapped my TPS with a used unit from my parts truck now long gone. Nice to actually have a part in need for once. Was a shame i sold all the good stuff mostly. Seems to be all better after some relearn time and even better after a calibration this am thanks to local mudder Rice :steer:

Ordered plugs, wires, rotor, and cap to do a tune up on my 93. I forgot to pick them up on Friday before the dealership closed so instead my son and I went camping and fishing. It was the first fairly cold night but we decided to sleep in the tent anyway. Wasn't bad but the tent is not designed for cold weather.

Poser shot of the 80 with the new Tough Dog 2" springs and foam cell shocks. Still am crazy impressed with the ride quality.

The white spot is my son. He ventured in to get to a good fishing spot. Caught a nice bass back in there. Or so he says...

Had to have some ice cream. The dual battery system and fridge kept is nice and cold. Put stuff you want frozen at the bottom and it stays frozen.

Had a whole mess of potatoes and bacon for breakfast.

We saw this Jeep on the way home. My son snapped a pic and made a meme. Haha.
