@on3i11s Nice! I used to surf there all the time

HOLY S#!T. I feel like we flip flopped...did you start out here in CA and move to SC or the other way around like I did...

SC >>> CA

I had to move out here for the waves...there ain't crap back at home besides hurricane season. The cliffs is an awesome spot, it's our go to break. Did you know Richard?

x3. I went with a pressure washer and degreaser and ended up with water in one of the spark plug cylinders and a misfire

Back to cleaning and tearing out the carpet in preparation for the new vinyl flooring from Trail Tailor aka @reevesci. This rig was freaking disgusting. Pics don't do it justice. On the plus side it is now clean as a whistle and I found a couple more dollars in change and a chunk of silver (I'll contact the PO to see if this is a family heirloom or something and send it back to him).

Installed the Thermozite. There are varying opinions on which way to install it. I chose wool side down so that it would fill the flutes of the floor. Some say to install it metallic side down to reflect the heat. :meh:

Upgraded the front driver seat. These can be found at your local Lowe's Home Improvement (shameless plug for my employer). Down side is you don't have much head room. :hillbilly:

J, I'd take the silver for a fee for cleaning that mess up..

Yeah, it's got some sort of religious or voodoo image on it. I don't want any bad juju...

Got a box full of bushings from @beno. That's a lot of bushings.

And TWO stickers and a koozie. @NLXTACY still has him on the sticker game but Onur's koozie game is strong. I now have a koozie for each beer.

exploring for the upcoming deer and elk hunt.

finished the sequential vapour injection LPG system over the weekend. (Thats propane to you seppos;)) I don't have any mileage figures yet but on first glance it needs less throttle for the same amount of Go and feels like the same power as petrol. the last system i had was a mixer ring type and there was a noticeable drop in power. pretty happy with it so far.

you can see three black injectors in front and three behind the intake manifold, there is a pressure sensor mounted high in the centre of the firewall above the intake pipe with vacuum lines running to the converter which is the round silver thing down next to the ABS lines and the brains of the whole operation is that shiny silver box with the red sticker on it. There is also a black filter for the vapour right next to the yellow dip stick and next to that is an on/off valve from the LPG tank under the back of the car.

So to operate the system its pretty simple. you get in start the engine and press the switch. the new computer knows when the converter is hot enough and turns on the LPG then at a set minimum revs 1200rpm in my case, the system switches over automatically and it stays on LPG until you shut down the engine. the computer with then start the engine on petrol then switch to LPG when it's ready. No hesitation in the engine at all when it changes between petrol/LPG unlike the last system.
if you are standing there with the bonnet up you can hear the injectors operating but that's a little clicking noise and not noticeable with the bonnet down. unlike my last system, when I run out of lpg the computer automatically switches back to petrol.

both the LPG and the petrol lights are on in this pic because I pressed the button before taking the photo but had not yet blipped the throttle above 1200 rpm to let the the computer switch to LPG. The little bars on the top of the switch indicate how much LPG you have in the tank. I will move the switch when I have lockers and install the magic dial.

1500 miles from Boston to Grantsville, MD to Altoona, PA to Boston... all without a hiccup (I did change the oil, grease the driveshafts and birfs, silicone closed the sunroof before leaving).

On an afternoon run to West Virginia to buy apple pies from the Amish, I even had a chance to explore the bottoms of some mud holes!

This is pretty cool. Do you expect drastic fuel economy? What does a system like this cost?

Where'd the brake booster and MC go?

Red Cone!

Nice pictures. I remember that big a$$ rock from last year when we went up. Camped in the Hall Valley right there at the base of Red Cone then made the summit the next day. Your second pic is one of the few I've seen that captures just how narrow it is up there on the spine of the mountain.

This is awesome!!! Where can I get more info on this ? I have been wanting to look into this for a while but have yet to see it done. I converted a samurai years ago and it worked awesome.
