My uncle see this every morning on the street going to work and it ain't moving from where it was parked for almost a year.

So, yesterday we drove there and knocked and asked if they are selling it.

The mother answered the door.

Long story short, she said get this truck out of my misery, it gargles gas, parts are expensive, it's old. This was my son's truck but he's off to college. He ran into a k-rail and broke the bumper.

I said these trucks have really bad gas mileage and parts are hard to find. Lol.
She said give me $3000 and it's yours, it's got less than a year old on tires. we bought that new in 1993.

I said with it's condition, that is too much, besides, we will just need it for parts:censor::bang:.
I said $1200, she said $1600... I said hmmm, I guess we'll take it for $1600.

They had no idea what their truck was I guess. I didn't even ask if they knew what this dial was for. She said it has "center lock" but never used it. It was just another SUV for them.

Now my cousin is bugging me to sell it to him and he'd give me $3k for it.

Cloth seats...

That's the color of the uppertail gate I bought for my '94 before I lined her...

My PRND back light disappeared a couple weeks ago, but oddly enough it came back on the other day. After it had gone out I banged on the dash a couple times and ended up driving on some washboard roads, and it never even flickered. I thought it was gone for good, but it just happened to turn back on one day.
Relieved it's back on so I don't have to open the dash and replace it.

I thought I would throw this out there. I got this for Father's Day and I think it works pretty good. Makes it easier to find stuff and it rolls up. Capacity is great and can be hung from anywhere. The strappings seem sturdy and the zippers are stout. Atlas 46 is the company. I got the largest one and it holds all I need. $60 I think.

Being seeing those advertised on FB for a awhile. Seems like a pretty cool roll-up.

Went elk hunting with Ol' Buddy and new Kodiak tent. The tent held steady and dry through five days of wind, rain, and snow. The truck saved my bacon on the narsty downhill backside as the snow melted and streams filled the trails. And the hunt ended with success.

So it was not you who got chased off and had to abandon their elk to a hungry and aggressive Momma Grizz I take it??? Or was that you, since there is no pic of Elk on roof of the 80..... ;)

Removed the old tint from the front windows.

I used my wife's fabric steamer and it worked fantastic.....

Next up 15% all the way around!!

Explored some roads/trails just outside of town for the afternoon, was hoping I could drop out in the next town over via an ATV trail, but started to get dark so I turned back. Another day!

How'd they fit? Much trimming needed? How's the sound? I still have stock all the way around and I'm in definite need of an upgrade.

No trimming needed. They sound much better Than stock the rear passenger speaker was blown.

The dash speakers fit nicely and were very easy. I screwed the driver's side speaker into the existing holes. On the passenger side I removed the factory amp and mounted it behind the dahs opening using the included little clips instead of mounting it to the panel.

The door speakers were a little more trouble. I put some foam down to space the front ones out and had to drill a few new mounting holes.

The rear speakers needed a spacer and some new holes drilled.
