PO had it repainted factory color a few years ago! I'm the second owner, no rust and its immaculate on the inside, he obviously didn't have little kids! Slowly but surely it's coming together...

@Dragos80
How do you like that HF Impact Wrench? Is it the battery or corded model (Item Number?)? I'd like to get one from HF, but the reviews made me hesitate. A quick review would help me decide. Tanks!

Doug

As with everything else, there is an alternative.
$100 more will get you a better package and you will make @LS1FJ40 happy.

Got my tailgate storage back from the powder coaters, I went for black with a sand finish. left the hinge, screws and latches virgin.

Also fitted my drop down fridge slide...

Popped the hood and noticed that my master cylinder cap is missing. Don't know how long it has been missing. I'm guessing a week or so since I changed my brake fluid then. Probably forgot to put the cap back on. I've put roughly 1000 miles on since then. Oops.

On another note, this master cylinder is different than my 1992. It doesn't say Aisin or look OEM. Can anyone confirm?

Holy s*** that is awesome!! Where did you get the drop down fridge slide? I was just thinking about how I couldn't use a sleep platform with my fridge.

The drop down fridge slides come from Australia, I lucked out and managed to get one second hand from UK via a UK land cruiser forum... It is so handy and makes sense... Here is a linky..... Fridge Drop Slide: Exterior | eBay

Picture of it stored away...

After the shortbus installation I figured the family had to go wheeling.

Little did I realize Bunce road outside of RMNP is possibly the busiest OHV place I have ever seen. Not to mention that place sounds like Afghanistan with amount of gunfire from the surrounding forest service campsites.

We also got in a little climbing at a few of the routes near the Ironclads as well.

Overall, spectacular days on a new trail where you can camp, wheel, climb and shoot!!!

Time to air down and let the Captain take over.

You were curious as to how busy? We saw no other vehicles but OHVs all day.

Mine looks exactly the same; but with a cap!

Got ready for the weekend:

New koyo aluminum radiator with fresh coolant
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced #1 bypass hose
Charged up the AC system

Big thanks to Brandon at TDC motors in Santa Clarita for fast and great work with very reasonable rates. Highly recommended if you are near and want something done right by someone else, very hard to find a good and honest mechanic!

The new radiator dropped my running temp by 10 degrees minimum, came in really handy in when climbing hills today in 100+ weather. It didn't even hit 200 on long hills.

Had to drive through the desert to get to the mountains and trees:

The pooch came along too for a poser shot, yes he was wearing shoes.

Mine was a screw on type cap instead of a push on with the pressure release thingy at the top. I'll see if I can order a new cap for it.

Went on a trail run through Jemez and the Caldera. Forgot to take photos on the trip, but here is the photo after the spray down getting home.
