Just got my 80 so no wheeling yet. But I have been fixing little things like power window actuators and broken speakers and whatnot.
My center console was dirty and stained with water and coffee so I pulled it out, used some saddle soap to clean it up real good. Applied some leather stain and then shoe polish to shine it up. Pretty stoked with the result.
I don't remember ever seeing a leather console in a land cruiser before... is this a thing?
The leather on the tcase shifter boot looks different as well.Honestly I'm not sure. I haven't seen it either but this is my first 80 so I can only go by pictures I've seen on here. There are a few things with this 80 that I feel like the PO did to customize. My interior is all half grey and half tan...
Interesting, got any pictures I can compare to?The leather on the tcase shifter boot looks different as well.
What OME steering stabilizer part # did you use? I was on their website the other day and couldn't find what part # was for my 80 series.Did the 20K fan clutch fluid swap. Nice roar on startup!
Then, replaced relay rod ends and installed new steering dampener, and had toe alignment.
Got my rod ends from Sonny at fjparts.com Great personalized service!
