Picked up Stewie the couch potato today in the LX. Need to take one with him in it but this will do for now. He is an owner surender because they are expecting second baby and never home to walk him. View attachment 1274458
Good on you. Both of my dogs are rescues. People come up with all sorts of crazy reasons why they can't take care of their dogs. With a second baby on the way they are never home to walk him?! That's seems weird, are they going to be constantly out of the house with a new baby? Lol

In reply to post #20860, I need to do the clutch fan upgrade myself. To speed the draining process up some have separated the housing, put the two halves face down in an oven proof catch dish, and put the dish in a 200 degree oven long enough for all the oil to drain out. I might try this method when the wife is away.

Thought Id share something I found this weekend. I replaced the PVC valve and grommet and found a super handy tool.I used an exhaust spring puller from my motorcycle stuff to hook the bottom of the grommet and worked it out in a snap.

turbo downpipe about 80% done. The to-do list is getting pretty small to get this pile back on the road.

I was cleaning the rest of the Utah red dirt out from under the truck when i noticed two things. First, the $(#&$ front pinion seal is leaking again!! I'm done with these stupid paper OEM gaskets! I've had this pinion leak 4 times. I know that i did have one spot on the trail that it hit a rock, but nothing really serious. So, i have ghetto plugged it with FIPG for the time being... but while under there i noticed that my PS front control arm bracket had cracked on both sides.

So i welded it back up.

... and i would upload pics but as usual they are too large..... so that's also frustrating. We took a step forward with this new forum but lost the simple resize tool that the old one had.

Looks like Stewie needs some better dog food that does not contain red dye.

Inter sting observation! They were feeding him trader Joe dog food, switching anyways but definitely will double check ingredients. Thanks!

Yesterday. And the way I decided to mount my cb and airbags.

Nice, I just got a 520xl cb myself, but my stereo is double din so I'll have to something different on my install. What brand and capacity is your hoist? I'm thinking about getting one but not sure what one yet. Thanks

Have you guys heard about 2 meter ham? Cost less, much much better reception, and you can make phone calls in places your cell phone will not work. I know it has a test but if LandCruiserPhil can pass it on his first try (with 100% mind you) anyone can!

You were just testing the functionality of sliders right? You're all good then, nothing to see here.
An unkind fellow might say Knob Hill seems appropriate.
Oh and good job getting rid of a skateboarder;)
