Turned out great! I am gradually heading that direction. I have been wheeling my 80 since 97. It is getting to the point where I can make it really shiny again with McGuires but the scratches are really evident from bumper to bumper. Even my snorkel has gouges. I like how yours looks!

Has it held up well? Easy to apply? Do it yourself? Spray on or rolled on?

It is held up awesome. It is a bedliner that my local dealership uses on all the truck beds they sell. The truck was sanded down all the Lexus holes were filled and then it was sprayed on. I use a brush to wash the truck with to get into the bedliner better. A tree hit me the other day on the trail. Little touch paint and it was good to go. I'm Very happy with the bedliner

Just took the cruiser for some 70kph to 20k stops in an industrial estate to bed the brakes in. What a difference! Locks up 33" km2's with ease now, need to adjust the lspv though, rears don't feel like they are doing enough still.

"A tree hit me the other day"......yeah, trees hit me all the time as well! :) That is why I am asking about the bedliner! Thanks a bunch for the information!

Lexus LS400 horn upgrade. Not sure what year, but aside from cutting the two small tabs visible in the pic it was plug n play. Now my cruiser doesn't sound like a yaris:

I also retrofitted a corolla high-beam switch to fix my high beams. I'll start a thread with more details Fix your high beams! Corolla switch retrofit but here is a pic of the switch:

The hi frequency Fiamm horn wasn't working, so I cleaned the contacts and it's back to a Cadillac sound. Now people don't ignore when I honk.

Spring Break family trip to Moab area. Given the peak season for this area, we decided to do Beef Basin to Elephant Hill to avoid the crowds. Also spent a night in Lockhart Canyon before getting back into Moab and heading homeward. Great family time, some good wheeling, and had the area all to ourselves.

Old ruin in Ruin Park just outside Beef Basin

Entering a national park via a 4 wheel drive trail is not something you get to do very often

No pics, but I made more progress on dismantling my wrecked 80. The interior is nearly gutted and today I got almost all the accessories off the engine in prep to pull it. This is my first time getting this deep into a vehicle. It's liberating to work on it without the pressure of having it put back together for service the next day. I'm grateful for the learning opportunity.
