Sorry I've been MIA lately guys. My wife and I are expecting triplets in June, so I've been slammed trying to get things ready. We have a 2010 Sequoia with the 5.7 which will be our primary transport, but I've been trying to get the 80 ready in between house projects in preparation.
Mechanically, I have gotten everything running great again, replacing exhaust gaskets, 02 sensors, hoses, belts, etc...boring stuff. Then had Marshall
@Trollhole rebuild my front axle for me (no time to get it done), so I'm not slinging gear oil all over the truck anymore. I also put my second and third row seats back in for the first time in several years. Kind of weird not having a big empty truck anymore. Then, last weekend I had to pull the rear bumper off. It was bent up on the corners to the point where I couldn't open the tailgate anymore. Probably going to run around like that for the time being until I can fab something up for it. Lots of other parts were replaced last year due to breakage on the trail, so I'm hoping I'm sitting pretty for the time being.
So, that's about it for now. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I'm still going to be around lurking a lot, just won't have many updates. It's going to be wild around the house with 3 big dogs and 3 babies, but I'm really excited. I'm friends with a good many of you guys on the Facebooks, so you'll see some updates there as well.
I think it's only fitting that last year was an epic one for me with wheeling and camping trips and I was able to get out at least once a month and had several big out of town trips, because this year will most likely be too hectic for us to travel.
Anyway, sorry for the long post, just haven't talked to you guys in a while!
