How dare you accuse me of posting gratuitous selfie photos to up my like's count at some underhanded attempt of dethroning @NLXTACY as the king of likes!
C'mon, can we at least attempt to keep this thread tech related! Now....my LCs inline 6 preformed flawlessly in getting me to the beach on this glorious winter day.

NLXTACY who? :)

Began the Holiday road trip. 17hours into day1 and the new:
-rear air bags
-tire balance
-oil change
-transmission fluid exchange
-LED lights installed into the skybox
-radiator

Are working great.

Unfortunately, Louisiana is being rained upon constantly and I have a lot of work to do on my catamaran in preparation for getting it to Dallas on Christmas Day. Six years out of the water, and everything has to be checked...

You need airbags to tow that?

Nice work!

You are cray! Those clamps are the best. I've never had a problem with them. What was your problem with them?

First, once tightened, they do not relax without just falling apart. Second, if you tighten them in tight quarters, the f*cking two wires start to spread due to the side load. Then, if you're really fortunate, one wire will slip off onto the unsupported rubber and then wreck the hard-tube you are trying to tighten it up on. My favorite, though, is when, as you tighten them, one of the wire ends pops out of the hole it rides in by hope alone and then you end up spending half an hour, lying very painfully on your engine, trying not to break something, and then realize you just tightened absolutely f*cking NOTHING 1/16th turn at a time. The most worthless piece of s*** garbage I've ever tried to tighten in my life.

I blame the head gasket. I've never had a single problem with them...

That's quite a valve train, I'll tell you what.

How many times can you hit that "like" button, anyway?
not nearly as many times as you can punch the clown.

120mm,

Nothing wrong with those clamps, they were designed by satan on a bad day when he was angry at the world.

Vacation extends the weekend. Snow wheeling and a beer... This is how a Tuesday should be spent.

There has been a bunch of thread post on this leaking oil pump repairs going around lately. My guess is the changing to the colder weather this fall.
My oil pump just has been just a seap all summer, but now became an official leak once I saw my 1st drip in the driveway. :(
@jcardona1 sent me this awesome vid by @Texasknowhow

Got the parts from CDan. Plus a blue modulator.

Well, one down 7 more to go...

Praise the Lord!
I got the other 7... can you tell I was worried?

We are home free, it's down hill from here...
Got it back on torqued screws to 8 in pounds, but had probs getting the main seal out.

Lexi450 is now back to drive way status from getting kicked to the curb.
I didn't have any probles with any bolts or screws. Everything came out just fine.
No more leaks.

I forget how much "stuff" there was on the side of my motor before I deleted the EGR, air pump, vsv, etc. Like damn it's a lot of stuff!

Yeah, I plan on doing all that at some point...just wanted an easy solution for now. I was kinda worried about blocked up cats.

I was going to remove my cats but the muffler shop back pressured them and they were clean as a whistle. So I just left them alone...

One of the best mods I have ever done was to remove my EGR, VSV, air pump, etc. Can't say enough good things about it.

Any photos of the finished product?

These aren't the best photos... we are talking about a black undercoating in a dark wheel well... but I am very happy with results.
Sorry there is some sand/dirt in the pictures from driving it around yesterday.

@cruiserdan says the blue one super seeds the other.
Well since I'm here that did the trick, I am officially P0401 check engine light free. I've been throwing money at that stupid light for almost a year.
25870-66011 blue top modulator.

EGR Plug.webp

The first pic is right after I was done before I put in the plug for where the EGR pipe comes out of the exhaust manifold. The second pic is the plug. So much room for activities. I am just about ready to start the activities in this area. Second battery, additional fuse panel, solar, and possibly a York compressor. Haven't fully committed to the York yet...
