Played in the snow a bit more. Near Loon Lake, CA.

The truck has noticably more power than with a440. My truck has 35s and the gearing feels similar to a stock fj80 with 31s, but the h42 has a 1:1 4th gear so there is no overdrive.
Fourth gear is what I was wondering about. So fourth on the h42 is the same as third on the A440F?

Installed my OME J SPRINGS WITH FOX PERFORMANCE 2.0 on my 80.

Have to put a 30MM front spacer from Slee to align everything back together..
Fox Shocks needed adapters to fit the front (PRO COMP have them..)

TJM 3.5 DEGREE Caster Bushing and SWAY BAR BRACKETS..

Came out looking incredible.

We finish the lift by 2.00am.. so by 3.30 am we were on our way to CITRUS NATIONAL FORREST to do some wheeling with some friend that came up from Miami.

Are the Fox 2.0 the smooth body shocks? Info/part number for adaptors needed to fit?

Fox makes a 2" smooth body shock that doesn't need adapters.

Snowsnowsnow

BFG KO2s were fantastic, great traction in untouched powder. Packed snow was a little more slippery, but never had any issue starting or stopping. Mostly drove around in low range 1st or 2nd gear, open all around

Im jealous of all your Snow tracks!!

Stupraman, can I ask what size the light bar you are using is? I just put an iron bar on and want something like this

Finally got the 12mm hoses to the rear heater installed. Had my first start up, got a bank 2 knock sensor code (0330 go figure) and only had one minor leak, which I fixed on the spot.

Bay rent was only $96, which I consider cheap for three days.

Burped the cooling system, old school.

One good reason to live in the mountains; no shortage of places to burp the cooling system. Blows good heat both front and rear.

One note: Those screw-type Toyota clamps? The SUCK. I swear, I've never had a more worthless piece of clamping junk to work with. And to think I paid extra for them.

Began the Holiday road trip. 17hours into day1 and the new:
-rear air bags
-tire balance
-oil change
-transmission fluid exchange
-LED lights installed into the skybox
-radiator

Are working great.

Unfortunately, Louisiana is being rained upon constantly and I have a lot of work to do on my catamaran in preparation for getting it to Dallas on Christmas Day. Six years out of the water, and everything has to be checked...

...and I thought my 60" hi-lift mounted vertical from my tire carrier was going to catch branches...

From the fsm

So yes the 4th in the h42 is the same as the 3rd in the a440. I think the swap was worth it but you couldn't pay me to do it a second time. In the next few years I am planing on putting an h55 and a toybox in if I can ever find one.

Nice work!

You are cray! Those clamps are the best. I've never had a problem with them. What was your problem with them?
