heavy haulage, 100 busted its water pump

Goss was a bumper model again. This one is Kurt's (Cruiser Outfitters)

I will be spending some time (afternoon and nights) on him to get him ready to sport and haul all the Trail-Tailor armor to Cruiserfest.

The wife is actually excited and deciding if she should take her 80 or drive my FJC..

Have a great weekend guys,

J

Cleaned the old carpets until we can get a molded PVC set or new carpet.

Drove up into S Appalachians into NC and looked up an old friend I had not heard from in over 5 years, who went off the grid. I ran US19 between Dahlonega and Blairsville, which is a mini tail-of-the dragon in and of itself, over the hills and down into NC. LC ran well and pulled the steep grades and switchback turns. I went later in the day when all the bike fiends and fast cars were eating lunch.

I found my friend alive, well, and driving his tractor, amazed to see me. We proceeded to have a merry catch-up, and no further work was done after that, just lots of talk and laughing. I headed back after making plans for a cook out and jam session In the next few weeks.

Sorry, no pics this time, but it was a beautiful and spectacular drive of about 85 miles over twisty roads. When I got home after dark, a bunch of rain rolled in with heavy thunderstorms and hellacious lightning! So now I need to put the canoe on the rack because the river is going to be UP in the morning! Yee haw. If I get up, that is...

Busy weekend for me:

Ran lines for the trans oil cooler I installed a couple weekends ago.
Installed a new Wired Wagon harness (thanks @slcfj62 )
Installed new Hella H1/H4 headlights

Ended up being a long day, but fun day of wrenching. I got the wife involved yesterday and she had a blast drilling out some rusted headlight retainer screws and helping replace the headlights.

Juggled a 2F block. Have plans for a 2FE and picked up this '87 block from mel lowe a couple months ago. It's been in storage in the M416 since and I needed to move it elsewhere. Used the 12K Warn on the FJ60 to lift it from the M416 trailer.

M416 moved out and trailer with gate pulled in. Warn 8247 on FJ40 was then used to lift 2F for placement in in trailer with gate.

I will hide this picture from my wife - don't want her to have a glimpse of what our property will be used for in the very near future =)

@collk22 - @slcfj62's harness is a thing of beauty, eh? One of the better custom orders I've placed to date.

New seat belts are on my list of important replacements. Did you go OEM or aftermarket?

@sschruff The Wired Wagon harness is fxxxing awesome and to think I almost cheaped out with another option...smh.

The small business owners I've worked with so far on FJ62 stuff (White Knuckle, Wired Wagon, and 4Plus) are producing seriously awesome stuff. Fit, finish, quality is second to none.

@reevesci that bumper is awesome even without the paint, could you PM cost but i would like the spare on the left and if possible a 3 container
rack instead of two. Thanks in advance.
