Changed the oil and installed a Hayden 679 transmission oil cooler. I still need to run the lines on the cooler, but it's mounted in place.

I finally got around to replacing spring bushings on the front end. It kind of felt like driving the old amusement car rides that kept you in place with a continuous metal bar around the track. The old poly bushings crumbled to dust as I was pulling them out ! I literally had to sweep them up to put them in the trash. I replaced them with factory rubbers. What a difference it has made!

Just a few little projects this weekend. Replaced the turn signal bulbs and changed the oil, but after leaving my lights on overnight this week, I finally went to RadioShack and bought the $5 buzzer everyone has been raving about. Installed in less that 5 minutes and totally worth the money. Can't believe cars used to come without this.

Made the front end nice and happy with a Marlin Crawler full axle service kit, backing plate eliminator kit, new rotors, and brake pads. Now to have new brake lines mad tomorrow and I will be back in business!

Went 'ramblin up in the Chattahoochee NF on forest service roads that aren't even on the GPS topos. Stopped down in a real tight spot where a small creek cut the road. Carefully, in 4L, went right over it and onward. Enjoying some live Dead on the stereo and cold beverages.
