Using my 62 as a defibrillator

Fresh group 27 battery replacing the 2016 24F that was in there. Probably should do an oil change and grease the zerks next warm day too.

Installed my warn winch and wired it in. Works great went with synthetic rope.! Also replaced all the window felt and gaskets including the stationary second door window.

Any advice on how to replace the window felt? I've had mine sitting in a parts box because I can't find any info on it.

Pulled my dash bezel. Had to get back there to upgrade my Firstech/Drone Mobile alarm, but figured I’d also order some new LED dash bulbs which I’ve been wanting to do for some time. Now I just gotta wait for them to arrive as I don’t want to put the dash bezel back, and take it out again. Not too bad to get the bezel removed. Just had to pull the speedo cable to have some more room to work. And I had the NCAA games on while working!

Did those brackets that attach to your Double Din head unit come with the unit or were they already in your crusier? Picked up the dash parts from a 62 to swap into my 60 and I have the two main brackets, but nothing between them.

I would do a gunmetal metallic as seen on the not-chrome bits of bezel and grille. I think it would look sharp and a little closer to "right" than black.

I first took the door card off. Lowered the window. In the front I left the windows in and pulled the old channel out with a needle nose pliers. The front comes in 2 pieces. The little leg up front with the new channel I slid down the metal channel using the window as a guide. I used white lithium grease in the channel or soap. Either one works. They slide right in place. Same goes for the larger channel on front doors. You basically just need the soap for the horizontal channels that go down into the door. The upper part just pushes in place. Then I took off the outer horizontal weatherstripping against the glass using a screw driver between the chrome and the weatherstripping and quickly punched down on it pushing the clips into the door cavity. Then I replaced them on the new piece with the chrome and clicked it all into place in one shot with window in. Don't try and install horizontal weatherstripping leaving the chrome on the door. I couldn't get the clips behind the chrome strip to click in place while the chrome stayed on the door or I would keep dropping the clips into the door cavity. I did it all off the rig and then you just put it on and click it against the glass by pushing down on it. It definately clicks into place. Easy.

The rear windows same thing except I took the windows out. Once you take out the old channel the windows easily can come out. I also took out the small stationary window which required me to unscrew the stationary post. Two bolts in door and one screw up top under the rubber weatherstripping door seal. Then the stationary post can be pulled out and the stationary window gets slid over and pulled out. New gasket around stationary window and put it back and the stationary post. I put the window back in before I put the new channel in. Again used soap or grease. It went in really easy. Now all my windows actually roll up no problems. Before they would stop mid way down in the rear.

Got it out again today for a couple brief and easy rides. Still haven't got my laptop hooked up because I had to order a serial port to usb to hookup to the wideband, but I know it's running rich under boost. Changed wastegate springs again and I'm at 7 lbs max now, would like to keep it right here. This ride, top of the hill you'll notice I drop to 3rd gear and give her just a little, sounds like marbles to me, but didn't get this last ride even at 9 lbs. Then again it's got a tankful of 87 from last fall so I need to get some fresh 91 in it at least. Timing is set at factory 7 degrees initial.
