One of the things we were unsure about is whether the intake preheater was working properly. At 0° the “coil” dash light should turn on and the relay kick on the pre-heater. This warns the air before combustion with the 12H-T diesel. So how do you test it? Well we could run thru the ohm rating and find some resistors and and and…
Oooooor pull out the CO2 tank and blast the pre-heater plate and sensor until it reaches 0°. Bing. Worked like a charm and the pre-heater does pre heating things.
