What roof rack is that? Nice and simple.
I did, I had left over raptor liner. I don't use it much these days and i don't want it to rust.Did you spray raptor liner on that grill? Isn't it just going to burn off?
Rolling on the new axles, brakes, suspension and doing a little fine tuning. I'm liking the disc brakes all round.

They were new when I was a kid, I’ve always liked them. I bought it from the original owner and got a stack of paperwork. 45,000 miles and original paint. Far from mint, but perfectly useable and at a fraction of the price of a new 3/4 ton.
My birth month and year! Killer find.Got another one. 10/85 with 192K on the ticker.

Ahhh... 1985, good choice, same year as my 60, so many great movies came out then, Goonies, Clint Eastwood’s Pale Rider and Back to the Future with Marty McFly’s new Toyota pickup that drew my Toyota passion. My birth month and year! Killer find.
And the 1985 movie Silverado was pretty good too. The panorama over the Rio Grande in the opening scene was filmed here in town, for scenery it's one of the best movie openings IMHO.Ahhh... 1985, good choice, same year as my 60, so many great movies came out then, Goonies, Clint Eastwood’s Pale Rider and Back to the Future with Marty McFly’s new Toyota pickup that drew my Toyota passion.
Mmmm, pork belly tacos
Same oil I put in my 4BT dieselDid an oil change, fresh plugs and a U-Joint greasing.
Plugs don't look too awful for ~24,000 miles. They look a little hot, they were gapped too high at about .040" -.045". 3 and 6 had the largest gaps. New NGKs gapped at .032"
I think I have a small vacuum leak at the PCV valve grommet as well. New one en route.
Checked the axle fluids and had Birf Soup for dinner.... I knew they were getting bad bad I guess I'll be doing the knuckles sooner than later.
This truck has 106K miles.
