@Nitecrawler

That's not OE Toyota vacuum tubing, correct ? Where did you source it ?

Thanks! :D

How does it fit? it says 5/32 on the tube and that's a hair under 4mm ... Peeps always said that was loose so I never tried, but it would be a lot easier to find (and cheaper) than finding actual 3.5mm metric hose, or Toyota stuff...

I should prolly just get a small section and find out .... I HATE the silicone hose I have on there now.

Finally finished rebuilding the transfer case, changing rear main seal and oil pan gasket.

For the first time in the little over 2 years since I bought it, it's not leaking onto my driveway. I'm not a mechanic but I'm learning with the help of a great friend who really knows his way around 4x4's.

I also would like to thank Georg (@orangefj45) at Cruiser Brothers for the McNamara gear and expeditiously getting me the back-ordered rebuild kit once it was available and also for help with questions we had. I got the oil pan gasket and RMS from Cruiser Outfitters.

This website is so incredibly helpful. I appreciate everyone who contributes to it very much.

Looks great but are you sure you want your ground going to the bolt holding the idler shaft in?

Riding around some local dirt roads minding my own business this weekend, went to turn around and found out this hole was very deep and i was in 2wd at the time...just thankful I have a winch

@Bama4door how do you like the light bar in that location?

That's how it was when we took it apart. Is it supposed to be on a different bolt?
I guess not as said above but after seeing threads with that idler coming loose it just made me think it wasn’t the best bolt to use.
