Went some old service records as a refresher and found some Cruiser history I'd forgotten.
In 98, TLC in Oxnard gave it a full refresh including bushings, seals, and fuel pump. Then in 99, the motor was rebuilt with a new long block after throwing a rod. In 01 it got a new rear diff. There's a gap until 2013 when Torfab did a full desmog, front axle service, and installed new U-joints and spider joints. It's minor stuff from there until the new windshield I had installed this year. Interesting to think about the things our old trucks have seen along the way.

Before and after. 315/75/16 KM3 with 80 series steelies and still using 2" spacers.

Have to know if those KM3s feel much heavier than the K02s trying to keep speed on the highway. They look great.

Yup, I spent hours going thru the records of my 60 when I bought it. I have the receipt for the first oil change it had back in 83! Its cool to think about where it’s been over the course of 38 years.

Spacers for clearance or for track width?

Track width and clearance. I bought them initially for the stock wheels and 33x10.5's as they scrubbed when flexed a lot. Kept them on since the offset isn't ideal on the 80 series wheels. 2" spacers are perfect in my eyes.

Well they are '35s' and E rated, definitely heavy. It is a noticeable change but not enough to affect driveability for me. I'll report back after I hit the big grades here in socal. I can see how the 33s would be the same as K02s which is great if mud terrain is your need. I personally wanted another set of KO2s but unfortunately they have a 2 month back order from BFG in the size I needed.

My 60s been with Nick @ Adventure Fab in Vancouver, Washington getting the rear tire carrier built. He works out of his own home. Custom bumpers and racks is all he does. Very talented guy who builds anything how you want it. He likes to incorporate your vision with his knowledge and experience to build a quality product at a great price. My bumper is almost done. Added rear quarter panel sliders off the rear bumper. Today he’s building sliders.
