Fixed my cb radio, installed a tow hook on the old arb bumper, crossed 310,000 miles, replaced my dash bulbs with new 194 green leds, fixed a bad turn signal relay and put a hand throttle in.

Its all just small projects for me now. The truck is running great.

HJ60 owner and upstate NY local @mongoose2231 decided to stop by for some parts....

Instead he got to drive my BJ70 for a bit .... I think he enjoyed it....

While I eventually want a full repaint to get it where I want, I gave reviving the original paint a shot on my 60 to see how it would come out. I think this will hold me over for now. Not bad for 35 year old paint!

Installed my vacuum and power steering pump. Time for a test run to check steering and brakes on the SOA conversion. It handled amazingly. Has the FJ80 rear axle with disc brakes. The proportioning valve is wide open and the brakes worked perfectly.

Exhaust had to be chopped during the SOA swap. My down pipe at the turbo was leaking due to a used down pipe I got from my buddy.

After work took it out in my dads field for a drive and photo shoot.

Picked this Warn XD9000i up on CL for $100! It works, just needs some wiring refreshed/repairs and a remote. Currently it’s mounted on a hitch receiver, but I think I’m going to permanently mount it on the front of the truck utilizing the factory bumper and modifying a winch plate.

1. Clay bar to remove surface contaminants:

the area under the 60 looks clear, don't know what you're complaining about...

Should be around 68 degrees in LV today but its been really windy lately so not sure if any wrenching could reasonably be accomplished
