Cuffs? Wait who were you talking to about me?!
Those suckers can be huge. When I worked for Texaco designing oil and gas platforms the installation contractors routinely used 300-ton capacity shackles that stood more than 3 feet high and 2 feet wide, and weighed almost 800 pounds. Impressive to say the least.Love the bottle opener and the bright yellow hooks (such a girl, I can’t remember their name).
I cannot work up the nerve to expand the discussion to include another piece of winch gear commonly used with shackles.
"First Law of Holes: When you're in one, stop digging."
This popped into mind after reading your “laws” comment.
Nice read!

Drove it out to a local archery range to throw some pointy sticks at bales of hay for a few hours.

Wish I had a book like this as a kid to learn the alphabet .
Still wish that F was for FJ.

So here’s the deal, I had them on my built GX470 for a short period of time. They performed great on it, but wouldn’t balance whatsoever. After 5 attempts in 1,000mi, I ended up going back to nittos on that truck. Having said that, I know it was probably just a bad set of tires, and the chance of getting 2 bad sets is pretty slim, but I’m a bit apprehensive. Hopefully these will be easier to balance because they’re smaller.Hey @BlackCat I’m interested in how those perform for you. The updated AT3W version seems like a good alternative to KO2s for 31s on stock wheels.
