I read that book to impress my wife when we were dating, (and her father) but ended up loving it! It's one of my favorite books now. Even the show was great!
I’ve read the whole series-LOVE them all.

But I missed it-what’s the name of your 60?

She is lovingly known around here as Hell B!tch. :) Named after the horse in the LD series. Different color maybe, but puts up a fight the same and just won't quit.

Put on the winter wheels and installed new pads. Drivers side went smoothly, passenger has a seized inner, lower piston. Is it worth upgrading to the 4Runner or T100 calipers while I’m replacing a caliper?

I filled it up a few times on my way to big bend. My hope is that only the die hards come out in occasion of the fed shut down and we get the place to ourselves.

NICE stickers Alex

Worked Friday afternoon and Saturday. Install the rebuilt PS gearbox, modify the hydro assist clamp, modify the hydro assist mounts, install hydro assist, construct new transmission crossmember, run brake lines and get it sitting on the Hutchinson DOT beadlocks and 37” Cooper ST Maxx. Slid the 4plus bumper into its new home.

I’m admiring the tether for the gas cap.
When I first got my truck, first tank of gas I left the cap on the roof. When I was pulling back into the neighborhood I heard a god awful roar coming from the rear. Then I noticed the insane amount of fumes building up in the cabin. By the time I got to the house I realized what had happened. I walked to the front of the neighborhood where the gas cap slid off the roof (god awful rumble) and waited for the traffic to clear. Of course the last person who drove past was on her phone... she hit it and totally smashed it.

Sorted out the seized caliper - only took two different reman calipers to get one that worked. NAPA had it and a loaner brake bleeder. Good thing I insisted on putting the winter wheels and fresh brake pads on:
