So what’s normal numbers? That's always a beautiful thing to see!
That is perfect for a healthy engine that is around sea level... Believe the calculation is the for every 2k' above sea level you lose like 2inHg. I am right about 4500' and run between 17 and 18inHg.So what’s normal numbers?
Right on thanks! That is perfect for a healthy engine that is around sea level... Believe the calculation is the for every 2k' above sea level you lose like 2inHg. I am right about 4500' and run between 17 and 18inHg.
Those things look SO good!So like many others I jumped on the new hood insulator train. Mine had a huge hole in it and had a family of mice once lived in there. So unfortunately for them they had to go and I got a new insulator. Although I think they left sometime back so it was not a recent eviction. So much better looking and the hood doesn't nearly steam as much now. Haha

PITA ain’t it? Just got through with that a few weeks ago. Feels good to drive again I bet. I’ve been down since June trying to pass emissions. Turns out it’s a bad set of VSVs.... well, everything else is new now so I’ll have fewer worries from here on out. I’ve got to wait till Wednesday to get to the emissions place and the tag office. THEN I can drive again!! What’s a few more days of waiting?Finished up the intake/exhaust/egr gaskets and drove it for the first time since thanksgiving.

BossLaid under the truck in 34ish degree weather to finally get back to the suspension lift kit from Jason, @TRAIL TAILOR. Rear passenger was sorta in but I pulled it apart to file the built up rust out of the shackle mount. Bushings go much better in when those passageways are less lumpy and more smooth. Passenger is in now and rear driver is close. Last to do is front driver. What a beast chore to do alone, in a driveway in New England early winter temps. Next time I won’t be so proud and arrogant when I’m offered access to a garage and extra hands to assist.
Pathetically grateful to a friends boyfriend who hooked me up w/ the cardboard from a snowblower box he got before Christmas. Make sliding around on my back much easier and slightly warmer. Driveway is too lumpy for a creeper.
Ya, it definitely wasn’t fun. I have a few more unrelated things to do to it, but nothing pressing. It’ll be nice to drive it in the cool weather.PITA ain’t it?
