Bought a gasket from McMaster and put it on the tailgate. The 60s didn’t have this gasket but the one I got fits perfectly and no rattling once it’s closed. Got the idea from Kevin at wagon gear. I also put together a tool book for the cruiser. My old biz partner and I used to make these tool books. Bombproof and tested thru and thru!

Have A McMaster part numebr on that? Looks good!

Wish someone was still making something like that, wouldn't mind to have one myself!

Link to the gasket please!

Turned my super rusty parts truck that came out of a field without running for many years into a snow plow rig. Capped the rusty rear brake lines, new front lines, gas pick up out of a can but runs pretty darn good. Welded on an fj40 plow frame (gotta widen the plow) and uses a cheap UTV winch to raise it. More to finish up but should serve pretty well.

FYI that would be the same "bulb" type door seal on 62s and an upgrade for us 60 guys. Replaces the stock pinchweld seal on the body side of the doors.
Thanks for the confirmation.... I was looking at that bulb and wondering if it would suffice for that area.

Awesome!! You got more snow than we did...as in, we didn't get any.

Carport looks great!!!

Oh, and "hi Buddy"

Thanks! The dash in it and the other pieces are still yours too. She will plow snow without a dash pad (or I will put my old crappy one in it)

Does that truck have stock springs on it? Seems to be sitting pretty well considering the blade is up.

It does, not much to the blade and didn't hardly droop when I picked it up off the ground. It doesn't have a hydroturn, but my old Polaris Ranger didn't either so I'm used to that part. I just wanted another excuse to be in a Cruiser.

I figured out that the weird front square area on the FJ62 center console can work as a cupholder! Toyota must have intended for us to be drinking out of bottles shaped exactly like a square 500mL Pyrex bottle. DUH! Its a perfect fit.
