Quick trip to the mountains for a morning at the ski resort and then biking in the afternoon.

If you figure it out buy 2 and I'll take 1.

no magic bullets short of SORs offering of a 77" long housing...I'm going to look into getting some thimbles made so that generic control cables can be used...

It's only 38 fasteners to take out and replace, if you don't count lug nuts :flipoff2:.
What's your hold up mister?!
I still need to finish putting together the rear axle! It's an empty housing. :D

Hung out at Box Canyon in Florence, AZ. I've been there several times so I skipped a day and got down Friday after work. Saturday we went the back way and saw the old coke ovens, and hung out by the river most of the day. Truck ran so-so, trans ran warm even with a big cooler, and it's puking coolant out of the overflow bottle after the drive home like it's running hot, which it's not.
And these KM2's are really starting to piss me off, it has a horrible vibration on the highway. Discount originally mounted them, I myself balanced them on the old rims, no change. Replaced the rims, no change. If I put my Lexus wheels and tires on it, it's perfectly smooth.

got a digital gauge cluster finally wired up for boost/egt/afr/fuel pressure. now have to make a bracket to mount it on my dash. here's the idea of where i'm going to put it. i also still have to program it View attachment 1442522
Cool! Can you have it monitor other things like battery voltages, coolant temps and such?

it'll do o2,wide and narrow band data, tach, boost, air intake temp, water temp, oil temp, fuel pressure, tps, crank or cam sensor. those are the ones i've read about. the screen i have will only display 4 values so i gave to pick what i want. i believe they have a fancier more expensive touch screen you can run more off of. it's a little pricey but very well made stuff and i can avoid the a pillar gauge cluster which i've never really liked. apparently it's super accurate too. it's kind of over kill as it's a pretty serious tuning tool and ill never tune this thing like a race car. i just liked how clean it is

Took the FJ60 camper version on its overnight shakedown run. The privacy curtains worked great. I like not having a platform because I can sit up straight to change clothes. We slept on chaise lounge cushions from Home Depot plus 1" thick self inflating sleeping pads. The cushions fit the back real well but they are fairly soft. I think without the self inflating pads it would have been a long night. Slept well and was surprised not to be stiff and sore in the morning. The copilot is ready to head out again.

The redneck canvas tarp awning worked fine as did the bug screens held over the rear sliders with magnets.

Here is scenery from near the campsite 12 miles north of Canon City on BLM ground. In the valley just to the left is the lower end of Shelf Road which leads to Cripple Creek.
