Unfortunately I am only slowly piecing together this cruiser's history before K bought it 10 years ago. She didn't ask the PO anything about it when she bought it.C,
Not sure? Did the PO to K ever swap them out due to damage or maybe it was the later 62s that had the bulb seal.

Unfortunately I am only slowly piecing together this cruiser's history before K bought it 10 years ago. She didn't ask the PO anything about it when she bought it.I do know it had a small front end collision due to the s***ty MAACO paint job and bondo coated front valence and dented bumper. Maybe they replaced them during the paint job?... but I doubt it. Maybe @beno has some knowledge on when the bulb seal made its first appearance?
Good to know. Poor early 62's. We got ripped off with the no rear shoulder belts and now no extra bulb seal!Per the online parts catalog, the part numbers changed in 8/88 and again in 10/88. http://toyota.7zap.com/en/us/land+cruiser/791430/fj62lg-pnea/3/6451/mbl985c/#62311B
I'll post up on Monday after I install them. Waiting for new blades on the siping machine. Gonna be sweeeet!
Sorry, no white.
Well, here they are! Looks like flares might be in order. New Toyo 285/75R17's. The old set go onto the BJ74 now.
After 3 months and 2 days at the paint/body shop, I finally get a sneak peak at my new 60.....well, new as in fresh paint and all rust cut out with new metal welded in! Unfortunately, he only sent one grainy photo to me. But will be picking it up tonight! Super excited, and I apologize in advance for the obscene amount of photos that will be taken and posted in the very near future!!

OME medium in front heavies in rear. It sits the way it is now cause there are 5 toyo mt's on steel rims in the back. That makes about 575 lbs, plus 50 lbs of tools and gear. Rear winch and bumperLooks good what suspension are you running?
New door, hatch and tailgate seals installed.

Damn those look good... Really do like the SCS wheels and like that he is making them for 60s now (well with proper backspacing I should say)...
Yup... cant decide between the F5 or the Stealth 6, either would be in the bronze matte color!
