Prado console?
Will the caps from the armrests cover the holes in the seats?

Yessir! I had actually hoped that those caps would just click right over in the holes left behind from the armrests, but, alas, they do not. Its totally different and has a little knob protruding outward. I'm thinking some sort of "Christmas Tree" style plug might do the trick with maybe a little modification.

Yesterday, hit the nearby desert, near Phoenix, to car-camp with three of my kids. Nighttime temps may be too hot later.. We all slept inside on the sleep platform. Did a little bit of exploring and wheeling before stopping to set up to sleep. My oldest daughter didn't really like it and panicked each time we climbed something. Also got to be careful during a holiday weekend, really brings the asses out.

Did a little washing and waxing on some GXs. Also, tried my hand in some matte coating on my grille.

I need to do that to mine. What paint did you use? Any special process or just sand and paint.
This is what I used. Mine is a 2004 that spent the majority of its life in NY. I tried to take the grille out but the bolts were pretty corroded. I just used blue painters tape and newspaper to tape around it. I used a degreaser to get all the bugs off. Then I applied light coats, so there were no runs, until I liked the look of it.

I swapped my driver's side cv with an OEM junkyard axle I found for $50 (in excellent condition). Will clean and reboot the one I pulled to use on the passenger side. Used a new seal in the knuckle, but not in the diff - hoping for no leak there.

Not a bad job. I did find there's no reason to pop the lower balljoint from the knuckle, once the 2 19mm bolts are removed from the LCA, there's plenty of space to swing the knuckle/rotor/etc out of the way. Cleaned everything up and used some 303 Protectant on the new-to-me axle boots, so hopefully this one lasts a bit....

Where'd you go??? I'm also in AZ - been a great spring!

My wife is the one who panics - literally leaped out of the car once on a mild hill climb - I kept going and made her hike all the way up. My kids love going on "truck trips" so that balances things out a bit :).

North on the road that heads North to Crown King, and North part of lake.
My daughter jumped out too, hahah

I refreshed my brakes for CO. Had my gas tank (stock) dropped and a new sender pump and purge valve installed. Getting maintenance sorted, a full exterior refresh done with clay bar, polish, ceramic type coating. Figured I might as well make it look good if it started this whole after ten years of wheeling and abuse
