Looks like this will be happening.
Not sure how many Mike plans to make since this is a one at a time process. If you have a 73 or just the 73 reverse light would consider using a replacement lens unless you plan to trailer your 73 to car shows...
I hear it happening a lot on long travel application with 2.5" shock bodies. Not sure if the shock body hits the side of the frame and snap the stud or something else.
How does this happen? This is the only picture I could get for now since I’m in work clothes. I noticed my rear was feeling off and saw this separation today.
Posting the link for a friend of a friend whose husband passed away, he had a small car collection and this was one of them. Thought a TX mudder could at least check it out if anyone is interested...
Hi guys, just wanted to hop on here as we've seen lots of comments about the retirement to this day. Todd is still looking to retire but we're still in business as usual! Although he's ready to relax, we will continue manufacturing all parts for...
I think originally did 2" over stk and I set up the frt with 4* shims. I found caster was about 0+*, so I shortened them an to 3 3/4" in the frt and rear at 4 3/4" and now have about 1+* caster. It drives fine but will probably go to 6*...
Anything shorter than 4" shackles on the rear and there's a good chance the rear spring eye will decide to bottom out on the spring hanger.

On the front I have a shorter shackle (I reused an OME shackle) and its fine, rear requires a longer shackle. I'd advise to try the rears with your 5.25" just to see and shorten up if you need to. Here’s a pick of the front.
Is there an ideal shackle length for the 4” SJ lift? I currently have 5.25” Confer shackles with the crossbar. I would like to use a shorter shackle to reduce height some and possibly remove a leaf. They were originally over tighten by PO. Any...
Well, I loved the Michelin Defenders on my ‘13 LX (275/60/20), but wasn’t quite man enough to do it again (probably would have if there was a 33” option for the 21” wheel). Alas, I dropped some Cooper Discoverer AT3s (275/70/18) on 18” TRD Pro...
